Copy and paste? Pathetic.
Shouldn't I be on ignore by now?
Another 3 hours of my life arguing with trolls Cy and Stoked.
Thank you to the people who contributed in a constructive manner, which was everyone else.
Why assume that Miami will be in the finals? When was the last time they beat Boston?
If there is any team that Boston can beat, it is Miami. Especially if they don't have Bosh. Boston can lock them down, play slow, play physical, execute, and Rondo can dominate.
Seriously folks, Boston might struggle against everyone else in the playoffs OTHER than Miami. They matchup well, already are in Miami's heads, and have dominated Miami all season long.
good postThe play where Granger got hurt didn't seem like a dirty play to me. I don't think LeBron intentionally got under him nor did it look like an attempt by Granger to draw a foul. That said, I think LeBron should have been called for a foul as he was moving toward Granger and I believe the defender is supposed to give the shooter room to land. That point aside I think Miami definitely overreacted to the Hansbrough foul. I'm rooting for the Heat to come out of the east, but I think Haslem and Dexter Pittman should be suspended for game 6.
I didn't see it real time, but watching it on replay at full speed and then in slow mo, it seems to me it was both 1- intentional and 2- dirty. I thought he made purposful, directed motion to get his lower body under a player who was in the air, and unable to protect himself.
I can't say if he intended to hurt Granger or just disrupt a shot, because I don't know what was going on his head. But I tend to believe that ball players know that ankle and knee injuries happens to the guy coming down, not the guy on the ground and Lebron had to know that Granger would land on him.
Bowen used to get under jump shooters all the time, if I remember right, he was more subtle, but didn't the league change the rules because of what he was doing?
good post....after looking at the play where Granger sprained his ankle, it does seem to me, too, that Lebron did go out of his way to shuffle his feet underneath Granger with the possibility of his landing on Lebrons foot! I'm siding with East on this one, too!

The teams are different and Rondo is healthy this year.
Look at the most current data before looking at year old data.
I think Boston will be a much larger roadblock ESPECIALLY if Bosh isn't healthy than some of you folks think.
And as far as your Lebron highlight. Cool. I hope you didn't spend too long copying and pasting that link. Who hasn't Lebron scored 30+ against? Here's a lollipop.

you da trollPerhaps you should say things like that starting out. Instead of trying to change what you said. You asked when they last beat Boston. You have been provided that.
What I bolded is probably much closer to the truth and is not what you originally implied. So either learn to clearly communicate what you wish to say or continue having fun trolling.

Oh yeah, you're right, the teams ARE different. Mario Chalmers has another year under his belt, another year of building chemistry for the big three, and the signing of one of the best wing-defenders of the decade in Shane Battier.
The Celtics have "improved" their roster with Greg Stiemsma and Avery Bradley, as their aged-core (sans-Rondo) adds another year to their bodies. I am excited to see how this will drastically affect the Celtics team to the extent where they win three more games in a series this year.
