Nah. I have said the same thing over and over: Don has been our best player in the playoffs since he's been here (minus the Houston series in 2019 when we never stood a chance).
I thought he would have a better series. I thought we would have a better series.
Still has no bearing on the matter at hand. The Conley trade sucked then and sucks now. It has been an anchor on this team.

I know this might come as a shock to some, but DM isn’t the only problem.
* Conley looks old
* Royce is completely ineffective
* Our bigs didn’t dominate against a much smaller lineup.
* Our coach is being outcoached… (again)
* And our FO failings are on huge display. Allen looks like a decent player. Bane is a stud. And Jones is a top defender already. You can’t whiff like this as a small market team that struggles to attract talent.
* We’re too unathletic and short to compete in today’s NBA. If we’re going to go with a tiny backcourt then we need long and athletic wings to compensate. We don’t. These aren’t new problems either. These are the exact same problems that have doomed us over the last 3 years. Our FO just refuses to address them.
Time to blow this up and start over

You are right. We need massive changes. I don't think it has to be burned to the ground, but we need a massive overhaul.

Especially if you look at these lingering problems the FO really should've had Herb Jones as their priority no1 in last year's draft. He's like the answer key to most of our problems. In some way it was a worse flop than 2020

+1 Leader are supposed to carry the team in PO. Rudy do his job ( we all know that there is a lot he can't do) as do no Don. But it seems that some people here are quite blind about their ''chouchou''

Perfect resume thanks. And blaiming only one player does not make sense. I agree with Lopo on one point. The Mike trade was a big mistake. He really does not bring anything to the team considering the line up. He was great for many years at Grizz where he was surround by player with much different chareristics than Jazz have. Big mistake from FO.
-our bench plays better than our starters.
-we have no junkyard dog player like crowder. we need to be dirty and nasty not nice.
-we play too stiff, too systematic, too predictable schemes. we should play free like streetball. look at Clarkson he's very effective.
