Patrick Beverley Available

Holy ****. Get this ****ing guy. His contract has to be one of the best ones in the NBA.

If Hayward walks because we signed this guy instead of Hill, ****. But this cat is so damn good and would raise our defensive bar and save us a crap ton the next two years compared to Hill.

Who would do 24, Diaw and our 1st next year?

I would want to do badly but would be afraid it would upset Hayward since he and Hill seem to be tied at the hip.

Can't really think of anything that would make sense without getting a 3rd team involved..

i wonder what they are asking for?

I'd assume a draft pick and cap-space. They are probably trying to free up cap room for a max contract, or near max. I think they can get down to

So like Diaw + first round pick would probably be their desired asking price (I would infer). I think they can get down to 84,000,000 if they trade Beverly and renounce the contracts they up for options and birds rights.

I'd say no. You dont trade 2 first round picks for Patrick Beverly with 2 years left on his deal.

They want to clear salary... we could help them but I am not sure if Hayward likes Beverly. Good player, but he has a little crazy to him... we need a little crazy but not too much.

If Hayward approves I'd be in for #30 and cap space. Low salary solves a lot of issues for us.

Why the Hell would Houston trade Beverly? I'd swap Hood for Beverly, especially if I figured Hill was going to bail.

I think they want to sign Griffin/Hayward/CP3... I think they will end up dumping Ryan Anderson on the Kings in the most Kings move ever.

Didn't him and Hayward have a run in on court... not that it would matter that much, but I'm just not sure Bev fits in the locker room.

Wouldn't it make more sense to do this with Ariza? (for the Rockets)

We could absorb Beverley without having to send anybody back. We could take Beverley and Louis Williams. We have that much cap space right now.

Honestly, I would offer #42 and a future 2nd to take Williams and Beverley. Without those 2, they could offer a max deal.
