He had a nice putback dunk. That is the only time I realized he was on the floor. Even though the boxscore would suggest he was one of the better Houston players tonight.
 
Enough. I know I said I wanted Patterson over Hayward. Yes, I booed at the ESA when the Hayward pick was announced. I know that I am wrong. I have confessed my mistake. I changed my avatar to reflect my shame. And still you mock me. What else do you want from me?
 
Hit back to back baseline jumpers that kept it close enough to be scary. Had a few rebounds. I thought he played better than Scola tonight but didn't get a ton of time on the floor. Favors did destroy him a few times on D though

Why did you like Patterson? Because of David locke or any other of those clowns on the radio?
You can't listen to their opinions. It will screw you all up.

I wanted George. I don't think Ive eaten too much crow on that. George is pretty good and will continue to get better.
I don't think too many people were thinking Hayward. That was a heck of a pick by KOC. Hayward is better than George but still not a bad pick.

Who did you want last year PKM? Who were you high on? Be honest.

I too have admitted my transgressions. I liked Xavier Henry.

I have been counting and PKM has taken the lead. I have made one troll thread and this is PKM's second one. First one was the do you think leaves are pretty thread.

Speaking of pictures, that avatar is just wrong. I prefered the Kool Aid Man.

To answer an earlier question: I wanted Patterson because I overvalue college players who have performed well, but fall in the draft because of measurements. I thought that Pattersons heart would be big enough to overcome being just a little short, and probably overvalued him because he 'came from a winning tradition'. I still like him as a player, and would be interested to see him play for the Jazz, but KOC was right, me & Deron were wrong. Hayward was the better pick
 
Patterson is solid. He is a big body and has a smooth jumper. He hustles, gets boards and occasional blocks. He is more polished at the moment than Favors or Kanter, but I prefer both our big men over him. Hayward > Patterson.
 
Hayward has had his ups and downs but seems to really be figuring it out. Hard to say we really passed on anyone that I would want significantly over Hayward. George is a tossup, no thanks on Patterson.
 
I really wanted Greg Monroe. But to be honest I didn't think he would already be this good.



It's crazy Hayward and George's numbers are nearly identical. Though Hayward is the better playmaker with assists and George more blocks.


I wonder who really is the better defender?
 
I was all about drafting Patterson also - he was from a great basketball program and did numerous things well on the court in college - he was a safe pick. I think some of us freaked out when we took GH because he came from a small school, but KOC definitely chose wisely....
