Caveat: I don't watch much college basketball (I'm guessing most here haven't seen many of these guys play much outside of a couple games) and am not making any "factual" statements based on statistics. As I do not watch college ball that much, statistics is really the only tool I have, imperfect as it may be. However, I feel more comfortable looking at stats and making an evaluation on a player than relying on some internet guy, who likely has seen as much of a player as I have, make predictions based off statistics but hide behind something else.
Anyhow, I like a 2 that can score, pass and rebound, which is why I really liked Turner (his rebounding for being 6'7" is unreal). If you compare Turner's Sophomore season with George's sophomore season, FG% aside, their numbers are nearly identical (yes, I know, different team, different conference, etc., etc. -- I'm not neglecting this but feel free to bring it up).
..............Turner.........George
MPG.........36.4.............33.2
PPG..........17.3.............16.8

BPG...........0.8..............0.8
PF ............2.9..............2.9
FG%..........503.............424
FT%..........758.............909
3P%..........440.............353
