What's new

Pelicans @ the Jazz - Tonight - 7 PM MST

This isn't a revelation. He's been a productive player when healthy and getting minutes. Don't give me this bull **** nonsense saying he's never been a productive player crap!!!!!
He's never ever been this good. He is playing defense for the 1st time in his career, He's taking good shots not throwing up random (houdini) moments that rarely went in, Not putting his head down and attacking blindly. IMO he's been a completely different player these last few games. I've never had confidence he would ever be more than a 9th man on a decent team. If he continues to play like this and stay healthy he could be far more than that. Hell, I think he may take Rubio's job in the starting lineup if he continues to play like this.

I know he falls through the cracks with DM's outrageous performance; but Jonas Jerebko has never played basketball this well in his career.

He was +20 in a 6 point win. And shooting 52/50 from the field and 3 since Rudy went down. Even though he doesn't put up volume numbers, The Jazz just really seem to play well when he's on the floor.

I realize that, but the last time he was healthy, he was still young and developing, and wasn't garbage as downunder suggested

Hmmm...Ingles has gone from scrub to starter. Hayseed and Hillbilly had career years last season. Mitchell has gone from chucker to stud in 20 games. Burks is the comeback kid. Jerebko has found his stride. And Rubio is making progress, although perhaps a lower ceiling due to his shooting form.

Something is happening in Utah and it's not due to the Rocky Mountain spring water. Quin may not be able to turn lead into gold, but he can take talent and mold and develop it - if the players are willing to listen and do what he suggests.

Mitchell is certainly having a lot of Boler's "Oh My" moments. I was looking forward to the tank, getting interested in who might go 10-12. I think that has been blown out the window.

Not really. AD has never missed an entire year. He just gets dinged up a lot. This might be his first serious injury.

cool. different definitions. I'd view season long injuries as probably more isolated ones (unless they're recurring) while a guy like AD who continually racks up wear and tear type injuries pretty much every year i'd define more as injury prone.

Definitely looking forward to JazzAvenues post game quotes thread tonight. Donovan was epic. I’m curious to see what the Pelican fans had to say about it.

Would you rather pay the guy who misses 10-20 games a year or the guy who misses every other entire season?

What a fun game. The emotion from Donovan after that And 1 at the last minute of the game...I cannot stress how much I loved that so much. He just skyrockted to my favorite player on the team. Well, him and Rudy are 1A and 1B.

And it's great to see Burks transform into a solid NBA player again. It'll make it easier to not re-sign Hood if it comes to some cap choice thing, although even as a college educated individual I feel like a total dumb **** when it comes to the NBA salary cap.

irrelevant to this point but I'd rather pay an all star.

Still consider AD to be very injury prone. I mean his groin just gave way today. Jabari Parker would have to be considered more injury prone than both ?

Congrats to Mitchell. Super happy for Jazz nation too. This is the kind of play they have hoped from a new player for years.

Kid is clearly a top 3 player from the last two drafts combined. He even has a chance to be the best guard in the league.

And it seems readily apparent he WANTS to be "the man"

Unlike some aloof eSports enthusiast whose name is no longer worth mentioning.

Someone needs to post this on a Denver forum. *evil laugh
