What's new

People you lack the expertise to criticize Corbin

I have never been trained as a pilot, nor have I ever been inside of a cockpit, nor have a ever engineered or built an aircraft...therefore if I see an airplane crash into the ground, my assessment that something went wrong is without merit since I don't have the proper credentials. Yup...that makes sense.

I wasn't mad at the Des News article. It was fine to say it to the players behind close doors. It may simply be a case of someone that is thinking it is not going to come out to the public and yet it does. I give him a pass on that one but I was actually pretty mad at the 1280 interview where he seemed to reiterate those statements and then some to Spencer.

I'm not that mad anymore. I can't do anything about it so I'm going to dismiss it and do my blood pressure a favor.

This is nothing new. Corbin has been saying this for years.

Back when he was an assistant coach and used to do the tv interviews a few years ago, I saw him say the same thing to David Locke.

He basically said Locke couldn't possibly know anything since he had never played in the NBA. Locke responded that he had been around the league for many years.

He's not just saying this because he feels desperate.

I want to see this clown replaced as much as anyone, but this was more him expressing a core belief than an act of desperation.

I loled.

Did Ty hear what Magic Johnson said at halftime tonight on NBA TV -- by Ty's standard, Magic certainly has the cred to criticize, and he did, BIG TIME, basically saying the Jazz should be ashamed of themselves for the way they were playing.

Magic used another word too: "disgusting". I hope Mr. Miller was watching, was embarrassed, and knows who to blame.

So we have Walt Frazier saying the Jazz are quitting on the coach, and Magic Johnson saying the effort that the Jazz are showing is disgusting -- who else do you blame but the coach. And Ty, these guys are Hall of Famers, they are about as worthy as any critics that are out there.

Was he not talking to the media?
I tell the guys...
That's not addressing the team, he was addressing the media. You can guarantee he heard about these comments from above. What a nightmare for marketing & PR.

I agree, I can see being naive and saying it behind closed doors to the players, but saying it to directly to the media shows a clear lack of intelligence. Pour gasoline on the flames.

2-8 since the trade deadline and this is suddenly beginning to feel like the end of the '10-11 season, minus the excuse of the Williams trade/Sloan "resignation".

Greg Miller, this is really not your father's Utah Jazz.
