Was the leading scorer in the Jazz game last night for Sydney with 19 points. He was a 2012 McDonalds All American but was undrafted out of Kansas. Is he a tweener or is just missing some basic fundamentals? It seems like some NBA team would give him more of a shot than he has gotten.

This should either be a homeytennis thread for content or a dalamon thread for fashion.

Did you guys watch a different game? That guy was great last night. He's exactly the type of player to team with Gobert, that is if he can play like that every night. Really dynamic offensively.

Watched him here in high school and then followed his career at KU. Good character. Good fundamentally, but just sort of consistently inconsistent. And seldom likely to make it for it by going off for a huge game. That said, I think that's a good reason to play such teams. Get a look at players that might be players down the line. I could see Ellis making a team, even the Jazz, but wouldn't likely be a rotation player.

Kevin Lisch is almost as good as Neto. I don't watch much NBL, but have seen him play a fair bit for Australia. He is also an inch taller which surprised me.

He is just a super solid vet player. Would be decent 3rd pg for some teams.... (Maybe)

He certainly held his own with all of the Jazz PGs. These guys on here are being a bit condescending of the Kings' players, I think. I had never seen Ellis play before so I only had that game to go on -- what did he make, 4 three-pointers in a row with a very sweet touch. He also showed some quickness and fluid movement, more than any of the Jazz bigs. Of course, I didn't see his whole game on display. He didn't distinguish himself on the boards or defensive end, at least that I can recall.

The Kings also had Travis Leslie who got a couple of 10 day contracts a few years ago with the Jazz and played in Vegas with the Jazz this past summer. I think he was a 2nd round draft pick by somebody once upon a time.

he looked good, but I am not convinced he is that good of a shooter. He's a guy I could see making the league, but there is no one on our roster I'd cut to bring him in. If we had a two way then maybe but I think Wolters got the other two way.
