PG - How is Rubio still starting???

I realize we don't have any obvious better alternatives to start ahead of Rubio on our current roster but how is Quin not trying other options?

Dante would not be any worse than Rubio, at least on D we would be better. Even Grayson would maybe be better.

I know Snyder is trying to be patient and hope the same Rubio that was in the second half of last season somehow magically returns but I would rather invest playing time in one of the young guys at this point.

Neither Dante nor, God forbid, Grayson, would be better than Ricky. As much as he sucks. They're both terrible. Dante isn't a PG at all.

Bad Rubio is a really, really bad player. But even Bad Rubio is still the best point guard on the roster by a clear margin. Unfortunately Dante sucks and Neto can't play vs. starting guards.

like i said.

you eat the least possible scoops of **** when forced to eat ****.

10scoops of **** dante
9 scoops of **** ricky

not much else you can do but eat **** until the draft and off-season,

but i also think snyder and the jazz FO isn't going to panic especially after last season started horrible as well.

I’m on record stating that Quin should start Mitchell at pg and move Burks to starting sg.

this is the best option for the current roster makeup. i personally think mitchell should be on the floor with burks or allen most of the time and spend less time paired w/ ricky or exum when possible. burks and allen also played really well together in preseason but we haven't seen them paired together either. ricky/exum + o'neale should never be a backcourt lineup unless the team has a good lead and wants to clamp down defensively.
