The Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns are teams headed in different directions. While the Jazz ride a ten game winning streak, the Suns have lost 6 in a row and are in the hunt for a high lottery pick.
In the last game before the All-Star break the Jazz can capitalize on their weak opponent to take their streak through to the other side. With one of the easier remaining schedules in the NBA and a super tight race for playoff spots all the way up to number 4 what was looking like a lottery year for the Jazz has turned around and is looking like a very possible playoff appearance.
I assume Ricky Rubio will take this last game off and rest through the break so that he can come back Feb. 23rd 100% ready to make a strong push into playoff seeding. That puts Donovan Mitchell at the starting point guard spot and Royce O'Neal another opportunity to start at shooting guard.
Let's go Jazz! Make it 11 in a row and go into the break strong.
