The Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns are teams headed in different directions. While the Jazz ride a ten game winning streak, the Suns have lost 6 in a row and are in the hunt for a high lottery pick.

In the last game before the All-Star break the Jazz can capitalize on their weak opponent to take their streak through to the other side. With one of the easier remaining schedules in the NBA and a super tight race for playoff spots all the way up to number 4 what was looking like a lottery year for the Jazz has turned around and is looking like a very possible playoff appearance.

I assume Ricky Rubio will take this last game off and rest through the break so that he can come back Feb. 23rd 100% ready to make a strong push into playoff seeding. That puts Donovan Mitchell at the starting point guard spot and Royce O'Neal another opportunity to start at shooting guard.

Let's go Jazz! Make it 11 in a row and go into the break strong.

I'll be out in the snow, again. What worries me is that we think we got it made in the shade..... gotta treat the Suns with some respect..... at least until we've got them in the icebox.

Yeah, I'm a little uneasy about this game. Got to keep the accelerator all the way down until it's over.

I think this one is in the bag and predict it's the last win on the streak. If they get past Portland then they'll have a solid shot at having a league tying year winning streak.

Let's have Donovan Score 71, beating Devin Booker's high score. The time is now to juice up that pub for ROY. That's all the league will talk about on All-Star Saturday.

Oh yeah and a 50-point win. Who gives a f.

Sometimes these **** teams get up for a chance to end a streak or whatever. There is no reason to think the Suns players aren't going to try tonight. Players don't tank, FOs do.

Agreed. Jazz need to bring it every night as they have been. You start looking past teams and you start taking Ls.

I would have preferred Rubio get back in and maintain some chemistry rather than returning cold after two weeks out.

So who actually gets to watch tonight? I have to go to dinner at 7:30, and the post dinner celebration will probably keep me from catching the end of the game.

Hope Mitchell drops 50 and we stomp them.

Go Jazz!
