What's new

Pick a trading partner!

I think that we will start hearing more about Toronto and trade rumors.

i read a while ago that they were ready to pack it in on the AB era. they also now have this PG situa6tion and a lack of any kind of post options. they'll be a player in the next 45 days, for sure.

actually the clippers are on a two game losing streak

Even if they were still on a winning streak, that doesn't mean they will beat okc, san antonio, memphis, lakers, warriors, etc etc automatically.
They would probably still like to get even better than they already are and i think millsap helps them more than bledsoe does.

ive been out of the nba world for a few days... my bad.. but i guess i just look at clippers and think, if it aint broke dont fix it. they beat some good teams on their streak. i just dont see them being a orginization looking for trades right now. but what do i know.... i thought they were still winning.

interesting note on bledsoe from marc stein's weekend dime:

Yet sources briefed on L.A.'s thinking insist that the Clippers don't want to even begin to contemplate the idea of trading Bledsoe until they know that Chris Paul is signed and sealed for the long term. So don't expect Bledsoe to be in play before the Feb. 21 trade deadline.

looks like you can take any bledsoe scenarios off your wish list, for this year at least.

thank you for that.... i get a little tired of the bledsoe trade ideas... and i am not a big fan of the kids work... i think there will be better options opening up for utah

Another team I could see making a move would be Denver. They're kind of a middling team by Western Conference standards, and they don't have much front-court scoring. They like Al Jefferson, or at least their fans do. I think they'd move several of their guys--Corey Brewer, Gallanari, Andre Miller, etc.

i really like vazquez too.... under the radar, but a really good PG with facilitation skills, great size, and a good basketball IQ. perfect type of guy to fill in for mo and then later play alongside him at times.

2 kinds of trades: Money trades, and a trade to fill a very glaring need.

For financial needs Milsap or Al will be traded for another big with 2 years remaining on his contract.

For a glaring need of pg Bell and one of the two left over pgs will be sent to Sacramento, or Toronto for a serviceable pg, other garbage might also be returned.

Vasquez is no longer under the radar.
