so memphis is interested in shopping a guy who has, in stretches, been their best player and you think they'll take a bunch of spare parts are garbage? they'll get better offers than a package built around al/paul, to say nothing of a package built around marvin.
they want a star or near-star in return.
Another team I could see making a move would be Denver. They're kind of a middling team by Western Conference standards, and they don't have much front-court scoring. They like Al Jefferson, or at least their fans do. I think they'd move several of their guys--Corey Brewer, Gallanari, Andre Miller, etc.
Sounds too good to be true. If you can turn Al into a piece that you could actually desire (Gallinari is having a bit of a down year, but an intriguing talent, especially given the dearth of a clear-cut SF to move forward with), then, AMAZING. You'd HAVE to clear a wing or Burks would NEVER see the floor, though.
I cant see the Jazz going after Rondo and paying a king's ransom for somebody with a bad attitude.
Its not happening.
Hello Marvin!
.... naw, can you imagine Jeffy playing Karl-ball? Lofl.
