Pink Elephant in the room - Jazz Intro

Love the Jazz more than any other team in the world in any sport, but man...that new intro is brutal. So cheesy. Is there any doubt that Randy Rigby was the writer, director and producer?

It sucks cus all the commercials I saw last year were awesome (black and white one, we are utah, etc) and they've had other great ones in the past. Who the **** signed off on it.

Am I the only one hating it?

Edit:

Just thought there'd be so much potential with the new video boards.

I thought you were going to comment on the player introductions and how they save John Lucas for last.

Ya, way more cheesy then a flying basketball through utah.....

I like it.

Last year they just had highlights to some pretty cool music. This solo defense against air, curling 10 pound weight and just overall awkwardness gets to me. Hate it. I think they need to do a redo.

I bring up Randy Rigby because before it came out he said "this is the best intro ever!" After I saw it I was like omg...

This I think is Dennis Lindsey's doing. While everyone has been applauding Lindsey for everything he's done (which has been a lot of really good stuff!), they've failed to crucify him for this blatant nepotism (he's known Lucas since Lucas was a kid, and they both went to Baylor, etc.). I know that Lucas mentored D. Rose, and Rose credits him for instilling the confidence in him to be an all-star, but Rose has the athleticism to make picking up the Lucas shoot-first mentality ok. Feel like the hiring of Lucas had more to do with DL's relationship with him than it did with him being the right person for the job.

Just so tired of people from Jazz brass picking a pet vet and shoving them down our throats.

May be Lindsey is using reverse-psychology, showing Burke how "not" to play.

Let Lucas shoot. Give him big mins and let the TOs happen. I am not the purist that many of you are. If we're going to tank let's tank. I really don't want to be having the tank conversation again a few years from now.

The weight lifting bit was probably Karl Malones idea. Where is Trey in the video?!

Weight-lifting was a good idea and Burks and Evans looked good. I like the defense thing but Kanter looks like he is doing a crab dance.

The thing that is most bugging me is Haywards hair.

I liked Hayward spinning that ball on his finger in slo-mo the most, if I'm being honest.

Everything else was a bit too contrived IMO.

It's always better to have highlights mixed in with the players posing...guess our team is too new for that.

I'll bet that intro video intimidates the hell out of opposing teams. Especially when they see Favors can dead lift 7 pounds, and he only breaks a blood vessel in his forehead doing so.

Gordon Hayward is looking like a Justin Bieber like guy and their are some Fans over their who expect him to lead an NBA team.
