NBA is going to require teams to have their own exclusive D-League teams. AS everyone knows, Jazz lost their partnership with the Kings in Reno and are now sharing the Bakersfield team. According to the SL Tribune, Jazz are interested in putting a team in St. George. What do you say, PKM? You put up the capital and I'll come run things on the financial/business end. I'm looking for my next big career move. I know we want to reflect the community in naming the team: perhaps the St. George Geriatrics?

St. George Wildcats.
Outside of the players assigned to the team by the Jazz, PKM fills the team with ex-UK players who didn't make it in the NBA. Of course, if UK has draft classes like their last one, there might not be enough former UK players available!

I hear that if you pretend MJ is going to come play a scrimmage game it really boosts business in the long run.

In all seriousness.. thia would be a blast and I'd be tempted to give it a whirl. I wonder if the Jazz would be willing to support outside ownership??
 
Isn't Stoked in that neck of the woods? I nominate him to be promotions director.
He's got some of the best mojo on these boards, and is always upbeat.
