9 mintues 4 rebounds, 4 points, a block....was frustrating the hell out of Duncan. Tyrone Corbin you are on my S$%T list and you sir are a jerk!

And I want to add that I really wanted to punch Richard Jefferson in the face after he hit that last 3 with his smug look!

I hate this team right now!!!!

Utah is losing with Al putting up big numbers.

This could actually be the best possible scenario. I'll wait for the trade deadline to pass judgement.

Which makes me wonder.. who would take him off our hands??

That would be awesome though, trade Al, start Kanter next to Millsap (defense/offense). Let them get all the experience they need - then Hello... Draft!

We are one game below 500. Yes, Big Al can't do it all by himself offensively. We were winning when him and Sap were putting up big numbers together. He either needs more 3pt shooters around him, or another good scorer to be successful in winning. (Not saying we should build are team around Big Al, just saying it's not entirely his fault).

This is not Big Al's fault. The issue really is that Big Al has not proved to be a good asset to a winning team.

I agree. I absolutely hate Ty's rotations on the big men.
Al + Milsap does not work.
But hey, I'll take games like today...just don't want 20 point losses.

I really think this year's Al could succeed with a better team.

Unfortunately, when we had Deron Williams we were stuck with head down, no pass Al.

When has Big Al really been apart of a team that should be winning though?

Last year was his chance, but he joined the Jazz at the worst possible time.

I'm not blaming this on Al at all.

I will say this, though. If we are not a playoff team, I don't want to be paying Al 14 million so that Favors and Kanter can play 12 minutes a game. I've been saying this since the season started. If the team isn't in the playoff hunt, then they should look to move Al.

The thing that really scares me, is that Millsap & Jefferson are under contract through next season. I can't see Favors or Kanter playing any more than 15-20 minutes even through next season as the roster stands. Maybe we add a PF vet in the offseason (similar to how we added Howard) and then their PT never increases and he steals their minutes. Then, you go into Favors' final year on his contract, he's pissed off cause he's never had a chance to play in the NBA. And Kanter is in the 3rd year of his deal, and he takes the last 2 years of his rookie contract finally adjusting to 30 or so minutes in the NBA. I believe that the next 6 months is very critical in how are young players will progress. We should be hearing about the Jazz as the most active team in trade talks considering our depth, coupled with our young assets, and two potential lottery picks. I would hate to see us hovering at .500 for the next two seasons, only to have our rookies play limited minutes and never develop because we're chasing an 8th seed in the playoffs only to get swept by Oklahoma City.

For every ten times Big Al get's double/triple teamed, he'll pass it back out once. There's a reason why he's always on losing teams...

Al is the least of our concerns. Our perimeter defense is pathetic, Paul cannot shoot, and our guards are completely worthless. They aren't shooting the 3 well nor are they getting to the FT line.

Without Al tonight we lose by 20+

But that's ok, blame Big Al and ignore the problems that keep repeating themselves repeating themselves and repeating themselves.... Bad perimeter defense, horrific outside shooting, and pansie *** guards that contribute nothing....

One thing that no one wants to talk about...

Kanter is a lot more consistent than Favors.

In fact, I'd say that overall, Kanter is having a better year.

With Kanter, you know exactly what you're going to get. With Favors, you don't know whether he's going to get a few dunks and blocks or just turn the ball over and be frustrated.

Somehow he's gone from that physical, shot-blocking, dunking guy to the "we need you to score" kinda guy and he doesn't seem to be handling that role very well.

Having Kanter (who's a year younger, no college experience) out performing him in consistency doesn't seem to help neither.

I'm not blaming Al, but we aren't trading CJ/Harris/Howard for game changers.

Yeah, I don't think Favors will begin to look dominant till his fourth year in the league. I could see that happening for Kanter his third season.

I hope that when Al inevitably moves on he doesn't join the ranks of the undeservedly boo'ed
