Players who were waived...the homeytennis thread

New waiver wire guys: Tim Frazier, Darrell Arthur, and Jodie Meeks was traded and is said to be waived soon.

Bruno Caboclo was waived. I was very high on him when he was drafted. Also, Alexis Ajinca (traded, but will be waived). A few years ago, I thought he could be a nice backup to Rudy.

I remember there were a few Jazzfanz members who wanted to sign him back in 2015. He got paid well by New Orleans. He and Rudy have the same wingspan.

Until we move Burks I don't see anyone new coming aboard as none of the Jazz players are going to get injured this season as we take it to the Finals and sweep Haywood.

Plus Ekpe is better.

I noticed on the list quite a few first round picks. I guess the Jazz scouting department is not the only one that swings and misses from time to time.

Stars 1st round pick Willie Reed, a 2 guard averaged over 20 his last two college seasons and a small forward who averaged 17 ppg 6 rebounds for St Joes his senior year.

Per bleacher report korver is out of the rotation in cleveland

sounds like they're blowin it up giving all the minutes they can to youth

Dragan Bender just has his option declined... Phoenix had two top 8 picks that draft... came away with nuthin... ooofffff.

Was the other guy Chris i thought they liked him but hes not on the suns roster. Where did he end up?

Houston in the Ryan Anderson trade. Likely he doesn't get his option picked up either.

bender would be a nice project for a couple years contract. see if the Jazz developmental staff could work with him. Jazz like hard workers though and i dont see that in Bender

I like Derek Favors so I feel bad saying this but sometimes i wonder if his role could be filled with a younger, cheaper guy who doesnt have an old man body. Maybe a little more explosive and better hands.

Maybe... I just can't figure out how a guy with such a badass name failed.

The most memorable part of his career will be the game of zones where the Kings and Suns were talking about merging "houses". Vivek mentioned the Suns having a "dragon"... then Bender pops out... lol'd.

That's intriguing about Bender. Someone is going to kick the tires... and they might wind up with a player. Phoenix has obviously been a dumpster fire.

I like Ayton and the Booker pick was great at 13 but the Suns are such a dumpster fire. I was amazed to learn Isaiah Canaan is their starting PG. That guy is the king of chucking. I think Okobo is their best PG.
