Playoff Game 3: Jazz vs Clippers 8pm Mountain Time ESPN 2

I disagree that they "blew it". Maybe one or two guys you can point the finger at, but they played hard.

Jazz lost because of the refs, and because of the lack of Gobert. The Jazz had no answer for the Clippers inside without Gobert. That's just a fact of life.

Nobody gets more angry than me when the Jazz don't play hard. They played decent tonight. They fought hard. You can't do anything about Gobert's injury and the referring being heavily tilted. I'm at peace with this loss. Just badly miss Gobert.

The only answer Snyder has given for the loss of Gobert is Favors. Even if Favors sucked, the guy had to be exhausted as well, which likely only compounded his sucky play. I don't see why Withey didn't get in, at least for a few minutes in the 4th to give Favors some rest. Even if Withey sucked and DJ scored on him in a short span of time Favors could always come back in. And if Withey played halfway decent Favors could rest.

Guys played their asses off. Favors was truly awful. It wasn't just physical... he's like not there mentally. Just feels like he isn't paying attention at all.

I'd like to hear one good reason why Favors played as many minutes as he did. TIA

Dude, I'm the resident Favors 'hater' because I state obvious reality, but on the topic of obvious reality: who the **** else was going to play those minutes? Really.

Rudy comes back. Jazz win 3 in a row to take the series 4-2. It's frustrating that they didn't take advantage of opportunities around the trade deadline to solidify the front court. Coming back to bite them in the *** right now. Get Favors the heck out of there. He can't do anything right now.

Ur a Moron. Nothing more nothing less.

You spill ur mouth like u know what your talking about. He has struggled this year. But him struggling is still better than your man Lyles. And the best "defensive" big we have with Rudy out.

You have had it out for Favs since day one this year. Your not fooling anyone.
Years ago, I called the trade of Deron to get Favors and pieces. You dont know me punk. I wanted Favors. I thought he would fit long term next to Millsap. As it turns out, he's all hype. He looked promising with athleticism, but thats gone. He doesnt have a great post game, has no range, and doesnt play hard every game.

Lyles has disappointed me, but its just flat out ignorant why he doesnt play. When Favors gets destroyed on the pick and roll time and time and time again against Paul. And then he cant spread the floor to get Jordan out of the paint. Lyles would have been a better option than Favors. Hell, Gobert in a suit might have done better.

Pity Hayward didn't believe the Jazz could score in the last 3.3 seconds and throw that ball casually. You have to believe and stay focused until the end.

That felt like Game 1 in a lot of ways. Big player goes down and the team rallies around that and guts out a win they probably shouldnt have gotten. Hopefully we come out for blood in game 4 and we get Gobert back sometime.

As soon as Ingles went out he started feasting. Then Ingles came back in and it seemed like CP3 had figured out how to beat him. That and the Jazz just failed to make counter punches to quell the runs.

CP3 made some tough shots too. Was still pretty good on ball defense.

The thing is, if any Jazz player catches that ball not going towards teh basket, it's an easy foul for the Clippers to make it FT's. Hayward did the right thing trying to hit a player down the court so they could at least be facing the rim and in range to draw a 3pt shoot foul or get a shot off.

That was confusing, but I didn't see anything casual about it. Definitely the biggest fart to end a game that I can recall from memory.

I totally agree. Somehow we choked game 1 too. The Jazz can't close out games all the season.

I don't understand why Chris Paul was guarded by Ingles....why Quin didn't try Neto or Exum on Paul?

Why Quin didn't play Withey, Lyles or Bolomboy when Favors has been garbage all the game?

Quin isn't good to make adjustments during the game.
Yup...

Why did Hayward have 2 shots in the 4th while Paul single handedly wins the game?
