I'm interested in the officiating tonight. The jazz clearly gave the Mo. which usually means that the league office will dial in a few favors to the refs. Wouldn't be surprised to see gobert or Hayward called for some cheap stuff early on.

I had some extra time this afternoon so rewatched Dante's minutes in Game 4:
Offense: I'm not exaggerating when I say he had absolutely no involvement in the offense, and a little confused as to why since Crawford was on him his entire time on the court. Nearly every possession he ran to the corner and parked it. I'd say 90% of the time he didn't touch the ball or even take a foot inside the arc. He obviously had the bail out 3. But other than that: a wide open cut on a Hill drive that Hill was unfortunately fouled on before getting it to Dante, one drive that he maybe could have taken at Speights but pulled out, and an iso drive on Crawford that picked up Crawford's 5th foul
Defense: Uninvolved in nearly all the action here as well. When he first came in, he held Crawford and picked up a foul immediately. Then Crawford drove on him and actually kind of muscled Dante out of the way (yes Jamal Crawford) for a floater. Crawford hit a 3 in his eye but other than that didn't give up any other baskets. He made a notable play coming down from the wing to box out Jordan, and Jordan missed an easy tip that he would have definitely made had Dante not rotated down.
The Dante conundrum is he has to be the PG to make a difference, and as others have pointed out, his handle is a little loose. He didn't play one minute as the ball handler.
