Very fitting that the Jazz, after all of these years without a playoff berth, have a chance to close out the Clippers and advance to the 2nd round in front of their own fan base.

Sports center had a huge segment about the clippers this morning. Basically they think the Clippers are going to keep the team together. The funny thing is they are going to go into the luxury repeater tax to lose in the first round for 3 more years.

I was just thinking about this earlier today. If the Jazz win tonight, the Clippers team will definitely be broken up. I suppose you can call this a consequence of Kevin Durant's decision last summer. If your core is young enough to ride out the Warriors superteam(Jazz, Spurs, maybe NOP), it makes sense to stay put. If it isn't, like the Clippers or the Grizzlies, you might as well start the rebuild now. The Thunder and the Rockets are both toss ups.

I believe Hayward may have his decision swayed as to where he is playing next 5 years depending on this result.
