Playoff Game 6: Jazz vs Clippers 4/28/17 8:30 PM, ROOT, ESPN

the game was ruined -- for jazz fans -- because of uninspired and soft play by the team they root for.

Pretty much. Team was lackluster like a mother ****er tonight. Refs didn't have **** to do with this loss tonight.

Hood came up huge the past two games with big shots...

And he sucked tonight. When he plays well, play him. When he doesn't, sit him. Its not rocket science.

I'm talking about playing Exum 5 minutes. 5 minutes. Why? Our future might depend on it/him. Rivers "sucked" at NO. He is valuable now. He actually plays at LA. He didn't get better over night. He got to play.

5 minutes. Use your brain instead of being a trolling smartass.

Once they got the ball, they should have gone for the timeout. Run a set play and give yourself as much time to climb back into it. Worst case, you get a quick 2 and a foul and then hope that they miss one and you can win with a 2 or free throws.

Nah I think they did the right thing by trying but when the play kind of stalled they should have called a timeout. We got an okayish look... I mean it wasn't a Paul George desperation shot.

Flat out we did not make shots. We had our foot on their throats in the first quarter and missed shots. Should have stretched the lead and instead they pulled even. That was they key stretch.

We've learned a lot about our players.
We have a lot of good players but we need an upgrade somewhere if we want to continue to advance next year.

Part of it does have to do with health, but get past that and we need to address the weak spots.

Jazz fans blaming the refs despite us receiving 7 more ft attempts than the clippers.

What are we now? Houston rockets fans on clutch?
I don't blame the refs, but they played a part. Certainly the Jazz lost it by missing shots and what not, but the team is at an inherit disadvantage when their center is allowed to push on every screen and their PG can draw shooting fouls 40 feet from the rim because nba Reffing has gone full retard.

When the Clippers get open looks on illegal screens it's unacceptable. When Rudy gets held on rebounds that should be easy put backs and possible and 1s it clearly changes the flow of the game. Hell just 3 of those is a 6 point swing. That's the difference in a win or loss.

Shooting 27 percent from 3, 50 percent from the FT line, allowing the other team to shoot 50 percent from the field, being outscored in the paint, in the fast break, and having your bench ouscored can make a difference too...

But sure, yeah, blame The refs. Despite us shooting 7 more FTs. Hell, if we just make half of those extra free thows this game is in OT!

Bull ****. Don't blame the refs. Jazz fans need to show some dignity here and not blame the refs.

Besides, we about 7 more fts than they did.

Blaming the refs seems pretty disingenuous.

If Favs show up in the first half it doesn't matter but that second half up until the last couple minutes was a free for all for the Clippers. Blatant fouls. It has been that way the last couple games. It will happen again in game 7. The Jazz have to rise above it.

I won't count them out... I may have to get on SeatGeek drive down and take care of this **** myself. I will bring all the churros and out spaz ballmer.

Wrong. A quick two is not the worst case scenario.

Im so tired of this sports board trope of questioning decisions made on the last possession of a tight game especially when the result is a good shot. He missed a good shot. If he had made this good shot you would have nothing to criticize. You're embarrassing yourself.

So you sit a player who can hit shots for someone who can't hit shots and will probably get exposed by the other team completely ignoring him? Great idea.

George hill drew the same foul called... so that point is moot, you can't blame the refs for their players making smarter moves.

As far as the moving screens, that's not new. Most teams have bigs who set moving screens. KG made a career of illegal screens.

If DJ is getting away with illegal stuff why don't we follow his lead?

Exum actually played well in stretches in this series. He did well against Crawford who torched us some tonight.

When we play as flat as we did tonight, we had nothing to lose. 5 minutes.
