Playoff Game 6: Jazz vs Clippers 4/28/17 8:30 PM, ROOT, ESPN

D-Rose sucks, so no more of that please.

And as for Ingles and Hood, Ingles is the keeper IMO. Utah won't find a better 3 and D player. Much as I hate to say it, Hood and Burks should both be on the trading block this offseason.

I think you hold onto Hood, unless there is some huge deal to be made. He is in a contract year next year, should have a good season.

Hey if we win game 7 it mat be a net positive we lost game 6, its a wake up call, gave our guys experience, plus one extra game I got to see my favorite squad!

Hill has been fire from the line all season his worst ft shooting game of the year coincided with hood's and ingles goose egg. Game 7 im ready

Also those two turnovers from joe johnson to hayward right in a row was surprising, we had a bad game, hope it prepares us for GSW

I saw Exum and Lyles sitting there looking disconnected. I fear the Jazz might have lost them. Hard to ask a guy to believe in a coach, team, and organization to put in hours of work on a promise or a hope of playing....then never getting a moment.

The Jazz might retain their contracts, but they probably lost their hearts.

Yea I noticed lyles and mack over on the bench smiling and having a good time while we were down when rudy sat from the ankle, didnt sit well with me, contrast them to diaw who you could tell was focused on the game and getting a W

I didn't mean we should dump him like we probably will with Burks, but Utah has some tough decisions coming up and we can't keep everybody. If we are able to keep Hayward, Hill, and Ingles, those contracts along with Rudy's are going to eat up a big chunk of our payroll.

I guess the real point I was making was I'd try to keep Ingles before Hood.

They were waiting for Joe Johnson to initiate with about seven seconds left on the shot clock then collapsing a double on him. Quin will prepare the team to adjust to that adjustment and it should lead to some JJ assists instead of desperation turnovers imo.

Dayum... they lost? I missed the game, had a hot date. gonna watch the replay now.. How in the world do the Clippers have so many turnovers, no Blake and win?

What the ****? I thought in your last angry screed you said you were out? You're a funny dude.

Utah's offense already got bogged down a bit this past game because rivers was willing to send more early help defense to our mismatches. What do you think Rivers is going to do with Exum out there? Does anyone want the Jazz's season to come down to if Dante can hit open 3's?

Let him draw fouls on DJ.

No one is challenging him.

Can't blame them.

If they lose game 7 - bringing in these veterans was probably a waste of time. Stifling development of two young prospects.

I see what you're saying. I think of it a bit differently. There's much to be said for the mentoring our vets provided the team this season. And the organization has been working hard to show Hayward that they're serious about, and capable of, putting together a strong roster. Joe Johnson's flourishing here could also pay some dividends for future free agent signings. Dante and Lyles were given a lot of time this year to develop and they didn't quite get it done yet. Given Hayward's remarkable off-season development and the heart be showed this season I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to hang out on a team that's perpetually trying to develop young questionable talent at the expense of missing the playoffs again and again. And without the additions we probably miss the playoffs anyway, thereby giving NOBODY any playoff experience.

Why aren't they developing? No one has answered that question adequately yet.

Exum, with the exception of one year, has been healthy. Has he improved at all since the day he was drafted? In what way? He'll be entering his 4th year next year and has yet to contribute anything to this team. I get that he's not Westbrook but shouldn't he be giving us SOME production by now? Instead, he'll go weeks without playing and when he does, his role seems to be limited to standing in the corner of the court, staying away from any participation. Is that what Quin has designed? Or is Exum really that stupid/scared?

Lyles? He hasn't been injured yet hasn't gotten any playing time this year. Why? Why isn't he developing? Again, I'm not asking for Draymond Green here. But shouldn't he be giving us more production than Boris Diaw? Especially when you consider that we could've drafted Booker instead. Does Lyles have a poor work ethic? Bad attitude? Why can't he beat out Diaw?

Both of these players were lottery picks who aren't playing at all even when they play the two weakest positions on our team. This series would've been over a game or two ago if we had been getting ANY production from our 4 or backup PG/SG spots. To me, it's disappointing that neither of these players have become key parts of our team. But it's completely mind blowing that neither are even contributing to this team. Both are having as much effect on this series as the kettle corn salesman in the upper bowl.

Hayward, Gobert, Hill, and Johnson shouldn't have to do all of the scoring. Hood has become CJ Miles. Burks seems like he's checked out (or is he injured again)? Favors it appears has degenerative knees. We need contributions from Exum/Lyles folks. They were supposed to be key pieces perhaps even foundations for this rebuild. We shouldn't have to rely on Diaw or some Brazilian to play the roles that Exum/Lyles are unable/refuse to fill.
