Most of the resorts close either April 14 or April 21. Some are already closed. Snowbird is always the last to close. I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see them stretch into May.

Snowboard gear is usually $50-100/day so if you plan to go often its worth bringing. Always better running your own gear too.

I just need some local knowledge on what their expecting for the next 6-8weeks.

I bet Snowbird is open until sometime in June this year. The other Wasatch resorts have plenty of snow to stay open right now. The problem is that all of their employees are already leaving and it's nearly impossible to attract enough ski vacationers to make it worth the resorts while after April 1.
