In all honestly I don't think there's a huge difference between the 14th pick and the 16th. That being said, I can't believing I'm even taking this question under consideration. It should be the playoffs. But I really have no desire to see the Jazz get their asses handed to them in the first round again, so at this point it's a coin flip.

Last year was different, since not making the playoffs meant that there would be a single draft pick and the possibility of having the Warriors move to 8 or 9 and getting their pick.

I don't want Corbin or Jefferson back. If that means the Jazz need to miss the playoffs then that is what I vote for.

There's my vote. If failing to make the playoffs gives the FO the balls to fire Ty, then sign me up.

Spurs are a great road team and they'd probably be upset if they didn't beat the Jazz by around 20 each game at home ... about one game is all we could hope for ... and I can't see it helping us win the big prize at all ... we defiantly need a better point guard and a lot more playing time to the young GUNS .. if not then we need to ship them off for someone that we can play... WE REALLY NEED A NEW COACH!

As a season ticket holder (share 50%), I hate to attend a game and watch the Jazz lose.

But I voted lottery because like the majority here, I want to see a rebuild with the C4, and this article makes me think that if the Jazz have playoff success, we could see the status quo next year.

In particular, this quote from Dennis Lindsey makes me nervous: "If this team catches a great rhythm and advances in the playoffs, we can invest in that. If the team doesn't meet expectations, our internal expectations, we can readjust the team in a lot of different ways."
