Please Let This Be True

Agreed. we don't need/want 3 rookies. We need to keep the 5 and see how far the 23+35 can move us up. There is definitely some talent to be had late in the lottery.

We could strike a deal with our cap space with the bulls, SAC, or LA for their picks.

Just cause we draft them, doesn't mean they have to join the team this year. 2 of the players can spend the whole year with Stampede with us retaining their rights, and players like Miciic or Inglis could be stashed if we nab them with the 35th. This draft is too deep not to capitalize.

Agree. Also, Lindsey said there would be picks available to buy in the 2nd round. Have to assume he meant from Philly since they have so many. KOC's connections with Philly run deep so task him with the job of buying a coupkle and use them to stash players.

Iggy was drafted 9th
AK was drafted 24th
Marion was drafted 9th

Or did you mean that you would take those players no. 1? Or that you don't see AG as at least being that type of player?

I agree with LazyD. To say his floor is Iggy, AK or Marion is absolutely ridiculous. Where they were drafted doesn't matter, you were comparing AG to them as NBA players.

Fully developed (age 25), that's the way I see it. I see him as being at least those guys. I am admittedly high on the kid.

I think he meant that if Iggy is Gordon's floor then OMG call TMZ is his upside, and that's worthy of the #1 pick.

So according to SI a team that needs outside shooting drafts two players that can't shoot. Great.

Agordon is a GM and coach killer indeed.

and I gope we dont go down that path.

he's going to be a dookie can.

Lavine can shoot. He is streaky yes (was incredibly hot, and then cooled significantly), but still ended up shooting .375 from 3 on 3.5 attempts a game. He also showed NBA range. Almost 50% on his 2's as well. Not bad for a kid as raw as he is.

You are mincing meaning. I already clarified what I meant. I take objection to the Rodman comp, because it insinuates A-God is just a rebounder/defender, when he is really good at so much more. As for what his NBA career will bring? Time will tell. Rodman is a horrible comp, that is all.

Rodman could also pass well (he averaged 1.8 assists/game despite almost never having the ball). What is the skill Gordon has that was so lacking in Rodman?
