I now have 5 over 2000 CP, and a whole bunch over 1000. At one point I had over a dozen pidgieots over 1000 because I catch so many near my house I just started evolving everything that I could to help level up. I kept the 1360-something pidgieot and a couple of the other higher ones and traded the rest for candy. I have probably over 1200 ratata candies. They are such a waste, but I catch them anyway for the exp and stardust. You need to really collect the startdust to level off the high level fighters. I had about 22000 startdust and then powered up about 4 guys and dropped that to about 5k.
 
What are your favorite hot-spots? Temple square is great for water-type. I almost have the 400 candies I need to evolve my magikarp. The base one I will be evolving is 214. I have no idea where he will go once evolved but I will probably be level 30 by then so hopefully he will be pretty strong. I also frequent 25th street in Ogden, which is great for electric type and rock type, really most everything except water. Working on a pikachu to replace my current 1400+ raichu. I also have an 800+ graveler I am trying to save candies for. Should be pushing mid-high 1000's when evolved.




Yes I play this too damn much. But looking for a job gives me some extra time so what the hell.

I was lucky to not get any 10k eggs until I reached levels 20-22. They're extremely hard to find. I've literally hatched 67 eggs and only 4 have been 10k's.

A 1200 CP Electabuzz is pretty nice. I don't have one myself.

I got my first 10k egg literally on my first spin of a pokestop before I had any clue what the hell I was doing. I immediately put it in an incubator and got a 458 electabuzz. Yay. Didn't see another 10k egg until I hit level 22. My son on the other hand has hatched like 15 10k eggs. It is like all he gets. He is level 30+ somewhere, not sure exactly) and has some crazy pokemon pushing 3k CP.

That Magikarp will literally turn into a Gyrados with a CP around 2000+. You need one with 100 CP to get to a 1000 CP so I'm assuming a 214 will evolve nicely.

I had a 1000+ Golem spawn at a Pokestop where I live. I have been powering him up and he's a 1125 right now.

You get a ton of candy from hatching eggs so that's what I like to do. I have a Charmeleon with a 879 CP and an Ivysaur with 913 CP. The starter Pokemon are hard to find around here so I have been hatching a ton of 2k eggs.

Chansey are in 10k eggs. You have hatched four in 5k eggs?

The highest Pokemon I've seen in a gym around here is a 2200 CP Dragonite.

The nearest water around here is a good 2 hours away. There are tons of high CP Arcanine where I live. It's literally everyone's highest CP Pokemon. You can find Growlithe that are around 650-700 and they evolve nicely into 1600+ Arcanine.

We have lots of normal, fighting, fire and rock/ground pokemon around here. There is a creek that will give the occasional water pokemon though.

And funnily enough there is an aquatic center with an outside pond that spawns Lapras lol.

Like I said in a later post, I don't think I even understood what was happening. I was in my early teens and was kind of clueless about it. But it didn't hurt enough to make me say anything. I have nothing against being numbed, or taking pain pills.
