What's new

Portland way more talented than Jazz?

They literally have everything- Experience, athletes, shooters, perimeter and low post defenders, creators, great coach, low post scorer.

...well, then, I guess there is a good reason they lost by 30 points last night to one of the worse teams in the league???

Im not about to jump on a Portland bandwagon any time soon, but Harris as a top 10 point guard? WOOOOOWWW. Makes me wonder if you really can name 10th point guards in the league without Google. I don't have the money to buy what your smokin on. Let me guess your one of those to rate Hayward a top 15 player right?
I said he ranks at 10 or slightly worse. Look at the list of PGs that were posted.

And if you had even read a single post of mine before now, you would definitely know that I don't think Hayward is top 15. Quit generalizing. It makes you look like a fool.

I'm adding Watson to that list.

Tyreke is a 2 guard. And Harris is probably better than conley, felton, jennings, holiday, kidd (at this point), lowry, and nelson, which would put him in the 10-15 range, like I stated... ...

Yeah, he has struggled to start this year. Give some more time.

Love how people overreact to 1 game in a frantic 66-game season.

I'm not going to annoint the blazers as a great team until I see where they end up near the end of the season. I have watched them play. It's a typical Porty team. Athletic, run and gun, but ultimately, average in the grand scheme of things. They'll make the playoffs, MAYBE win a first round series, although I woulnd't bet on it.

They'll be the so called "team that nobody wants to face in the first round"

They've been that for a long time.

In previous years, they haven't been run&gun they've been a grind-it-out, tough half-court team. They used their athleticism to defend, but not to push the ball or play uptempo. That's changed now that they have a real PG in Felton. I don't think they'll come out of the west because I don't think they have that go-to player that has the competitive greatness to compete with a Kobe or Durant, but I think they're clearly a top-3 team in the conference.
