I doubt it. After all, he is a professional Russian. He put a post up on FB with a picture of his cameraman's leg with a nice gash. I doubt it was real though.

Here's the aftermath of a real explosion (40,000 lbs!). franklin London on scene at UTTR with Sargent Slaughter and several others (the white boxes).

My co-worker went to one of these and the army didn't move everyone back far enough. Oops. They had shrapnel fly past them and he brought back a few 4 in' long pieces of sharp aluminum that could have taken his head off. I guess that F-16 strafing an SUV wasn't enough. :)

If you look closely the guy who is holding the camera is way closer to death comparing to Russian guy. And shrapnels move is very unrealistic (goes left then without a reason goes right). Looks like a succesful photoshop work to me, im impressed.
