Nah. If I ignored people just for making false statements everyone would be on ignore.
"ignore" is more like an innerwebz detention center for nonconformists and dissidents who are inconvenient to committed change agents trying to perfect the collective mind control mantra du jour. . . . .. people who just won't roll over and cry "uncle" at your incontrovertible powers of logic. . . .
OB, for example, used to run a little place call "Life, the Universe, and One Brow", where all the appropriate proofs of standard knowledge were being collected. I used to visit there, thinking I could pry a few planks loose from the construct and maybe let some light in. Until I noticed Ain't stopped going there, and a few trainers from some change agent troll club pushing atheism in the old Marxist style started sympathizing with him, calling me a troll.
I think, however, that OB had a few actual principles of conscience, and decided to not actually just ignore me, though I suspect there were times when I was that obnoxious. . . . . and did get the "Ignored" medal a few times, for a few days. . . .
Well, if I had a few hundred billion to fund a change-agent outfit like the Nobel foundation, I'd start passing out prizes too, like the Babe Prize, as distinct from the Boob Prize,for creativity. If you could just imagine some hilarious point of view nobody would be stupid enough to take seriously, and everybody could laugh at together, I think it would go further towards World Peace than, say giving a Peace Prize to a newly elected dark horse President whose only accomplishment in life had been taking a salary as a political activist on the streets of Chicago, and maybe licking some boots belonging to disciples of Cecil Rhodes, the White Supremacist of all time.
The only real drawback to my plan is not having all that money to pass out, and no friends at the Fed like Goldman Sachs always has, besides the minor point that neither human creative genius, nor human stupidity, have any recognizable limits. So saying "nobody would, or could,be that stupid" is a pretty stupid. . . . perhaps the very definition of unlimited stupidity. .. .
