Rush or Danny Green. I don't want to see any more players that cannot shoot (unless it is AK at a reasonable deal because his defense allows us to insert shooters at other positions. I also would love to see what he, Favors, and GTime could do on D.) No other FA we can get can do on D what AK does, so they need to be elite shooters. We need only one drive to get to the line specialist, and that position is filled by Burks.

I fully expect that GTime, Favors, and Kanter will bring up their percentages this year. If Burks can improve his shot as well, we will probably blow up regardless of any more FA pickups. What we are looking for is Burks insurance. Hopefully he makes the point moot.

Yes, because we have so many shooters at other positions. Like Millsap? Hayward, Burks, Harris, Favors and Kanter aren't shooters. Hayward did have an outstanding rookie season after December, but he and Burks are better-suited as to score off drives, not spot up for jumpers.

I can't believe the love some still have for AK. He's like an old girlfriend who usually treated you like $#@!, but every once in a while decided to give you great sex. A few years later you remember the good times, but conveniently forget all the #$%@ that far outweighed a few minutes of pleasure now and again.

AK has ONE offensive skill: drive the lane and throw his hands wildly up in the air, hoping his flailing will fool the refs into calling a foul. Reminds me of those inflatable tube men you often see in front of businesses. On defense he has two skills: he's still an OK shot-blocker from the weak side, although age and injuries have decreased his jumping ability. And he's pretty good at sticking those long arms into the passing lanes. But he is an absolutely HORRIBLE man-to-man defender. He gets abused by bigger forwards and he can't stop smaller ones from driving around him or just stepping back and taking a jumper. It's almost comical to watch defenders play against him. They just stand back and dare him to toss up an airball.

Yep, there are 29 teams just waiting with contracts in hand. Utah better jump in now and lock him up for 3 years at the full MLE.
