It sounds like he thinks they could get Kessler for essentially nothing. I think he has more value than that.

Yeah, he said a first rounder. I think it would probably have to be two. But maybe the Bucks pick in 2027 is good enough by itself to get it done.

If the Pelicans make a move for Kessler, they will end up under the luxury tax somehow. They have never paid the tax and are not going to miss out on a record allocation. If a deal gets done, I would imagine it would be 27+JRE+Hawkins or 27+JRE+Missi.
