Powder League

There is an interesting article on the media page from the Deseret News about the Powder League a pro am basketball league being played in Draper. One of the prominent players mentioned was the late great Rayjohn Tucker. Brantley is participating in the league as will be some Milwaukee Bucks when their season ends. Royce was spectating at one of the games. Other NBA players participating are Raul Neto, Jaxon Hayes, Ian Clark, Ronnie Price, Yoeli Childs, and Frank Jackson. When the bizarre trade occurred dumping Tucker the character assassination started with Locke carrying the water about how Rayjohn really didn't fit in which I bought hook, line and sinker. He didn't set the world on fire with the Sixers but had a pretty good GLeague season. It sounds like he like SLC as he brought a couple of friends from college out to play in the league as well. Something really stinky was going on when he was dumped along with the other bizarre roster moves later.

That makes more sense, but odd really. What sport refers to a completely different sport when naming their league? Just really odd.
I know right? It’s almost as odd as a team from Utah being named after Jazz music

Lol. Good point.

I always loved that opening bit in Baseketball when they take a shot at us.
Problem with his point is that a team from Utah doesn't exist.
