Stoked Bro, my condolences. I didn't really have a horse in this race.

If I was rooting for someone, it was the Seahawks. Not because I liked them, not because they're defense oriented, and out of spite. The people I was watching with told me Seattle had never won a superb owl. That instantly likened them to the Jazz for me, and had no choice but to lean Seattle.

But none the less, I'm sorry for your loss.

How many times tonight did you think, "If only we had a healthy Von Miller playing..." and then sneak away to the bathroom for a cry?

No tears and no Von Miller. The offense lost this. not the D. Look at the turnovers.

The problem was everything was not working early and they got in a hole they couldn't climb out of. If they had Von Miller to help counter those early offensive struggles, it would've helped. Obviously he's one guy, and they got absolutely worked so it's not even worth thinking about, but those Seahawks' drives were sustained because of little chippy throws or Russ scrambling, things Von could've helped on.

Translation: Denver lost.

Denver seemed like they were playing scared from the very first play. After they got behind they continued to play conservative ball and didn't commit to doing what it was going to take to get back in it. It was a total WTF game from the Broncos.

Disagree, I think the Seahawks D is just that good. Bronos completely outmatched.

I'll give you credit for knowing more about this than I do. This was the only football game I watched this year.

Heh, that's crazy. Just don't like it all that much?

I like football when I watch it. Just don't have a team. My dad was way into football.

I think I'll try to follow the Chargers and the Bears next year. I lived in both San Diego and outside Chicago and the Bears were my dad's team.

It's just hard for me to get into a sport when I don't have any emotional attachment to the outcome.

Oh man, you're in luck.

It's actually really fun not having a team that you are emotionally attached to.

I'm an absolute crazy person about the Jazz and the Utes. It's like they are a part of me. With the NFL I can just watch the games and enjoy the sport. I genuinely look forward to NFL games, and no matter the outcome I'm never freaking out like with NBA games.

PS: IMO you can't just all the sudden be a true fan of a team. I know it's kind of an A-hole thing to say, but to me the only true fans are people who grew up in the town of the team they are rooting for and have never not rooted for that team. It's not possible for me to stop being a jazz fan, but some dude from Ohio or some **** that just randomly decided, "hey, I'm a Jazz fan now!" can bail at any time. It's cool he's a fan, but he'll never know how I feel, and if the Jazz ever won a Championship he wouldnt experience the same emotions as me.

Basically what I mean is, don't try and force yourself to be a fan of a team, Youll have way more fun if you just get into the sport itself. I know you didn't like fantasy basketball, but you should play fantasy football. If Fantasy Basketball is like poker fantasy football is like roulette. Its soooo much fun, and nothing like the amount of strategery that can be involved in fantasy basketball.

on the app. square bizness.

I agree with you 100% that I will never be a true fan of any football team...unless Utah gets an NFL team.

But it's hard for me to watch because I don't know anything about the character of any of the teams and I don't know any of the players. So, I figure I'll pick a couple teams to follow and root for. For me the natural teams (I have no idea at all how good these teams may or may not be) are the Bears and the Chargers. So I can get my feet wet by learning a little bit about those teams and their players and by watching them I'll start getting to know the rest of the league. It probably sounds weird to try to get into watching a sport that I'm perfectly happy not watching at all, but I do like football. My dad always said he was a member of the Church of the NFL, as he religiously spent every Sunday worshiping it. He was way into football.

The first time I heard the announcers say, "Peyton Manning told us he is not going to throw at Richard Sherman" that was my thought too. If that's the case, they were playing scared. He did actually throw at him a few times, but still, if you're Mr. 5000 yard MVP and that's even floating in your brain....something's wrong to me.
