Pre-season Game 1: Utah Jazz vs. GS Warriors, Mon Oct. 8th 830 MT

We'll see if Mark Jackson goes extended minutes with 5 guards on the floor at the same time again - then you'll have your answer.

And seriously, why was Klay Thompson glued to the bench in the 4th quarter of their last game against the San Antonio Scrubs? Was he "fatigued" or not the Warriors' best available player?

OK tickets are paid for. I got three for myself, daughter and gf, section 111, row 20, seats 5-7. Not too far from the court, but I don't want to pay the big bucks for a pre-season game either. Go Jazz!!

I take it back. Trash talking isn't worth it.

Well done! Now we can expect a full report when you get home.

Thanks bud! I'll see what I can do but I'm not the reporter some of you guys are.

Actually my daughter might be the one to start the trash talking. Shes only 16 but she has a fiery temper!

Regarding the Warriors I really don't know any Warrior fans or go to their forums. I was something of a Kings fan but with all the crap the MaGoofs pull I couldn't bear it anymore.

Recap of the first preseason game of Warriors. Lakers fall by 83-110.

Enes sounds motivated since he's striving to get a piece of Warriors.

Found a site the game may be streamed on or downloaded from. Go to SportWebz. They have it listed at the bottom of the page at 4:30. Hope this helps.

I just realized that we got rid of a lot trash this past offseason. It finally sunk in.

No more Miles?!? No Bell?!?! No Howard!!?@ No Harris!!!!

and we are flying under the radar. Couldn't ask for a better set up.

I hope we can guard the perimeter better this year. The Tankers will be a good test.

My current thinking is that our perimeter defense has certainly improved. We added Marvin Williams and Foye. Most articles I have read mentions that they are above average - good perimeter defenders. Combine that with still having Hayward and I'd say they have certainly improved.

Plus those very players stretch the floor for one of the best front courts in the NBA. Utah addressed some of their biggest problems this offseason. I think we will see a much improved Utah team.

The Jazz are not "elite" yet but they damn sure made big strides that direction.
