Predict our top 5 players for this upcoming season

People underrating Burks. Typical of this place. Comical. Farcical.

I actually believe burks will be the either the best or 2nd best player on the team when he gets the minutes...... however this thread is based on next year and i have a feeling that he wont get more than 20 minutes a game so he would not be in my top 5 for next year.

Millsap - perhaps never will be an All Star but a glue guy that every team needs. He does work hard, he plays through injuries, decent passer, etc. Perhaps the stats won't show it but he will be one of the most important/top players on the team. (Especially if he will take the 6th man role).
Hayward - does everything you need him to. He also may never be an All Star, but he is another hard working player that teams need. His passing and ball handling were pretty good, he runs the floor, and I also LOVE his blocking ability for a SG/SF. If he can be consistent this season, he certainly deserves top 5 honors.
Jefferson - will get his numbers (and hopefully a first class plane ticket out of Utah)
Favors - Hopefully Favors will get the minutes he deserves this year and finally gets to show us what he can do. He is motivated and a good defender but also has the ability to score in the paint and has a decent mid range game. If he gets the minutes and can stay out of foul trouble, it will certainly be a break out year.
Mo - Mo will have his opportunity this year and it will be up to him if he capitalizes on it. He'll have plenty of opportunities to score, but he needs to know when to pass as well. Will he be the score-first PG or be the pass-first, team oriented PG and leader that the Jazz need? Hopefully its the latter and he'll have a positive impact.

1. Millsap
2. Favors
3. Hayward
4. Jefferson
5. Marvin Williams
6. Mo Williams
7. Alec Burks
8. R. Foye
9. Enes Kanter
10. Jeremy Evans

(no one else should ever see the floor outside of a horrible pandemic)

My gut tells me to put Burks 9th. I don't underestimate him. He's extremely capable. I just don't overestimate him and have a feeling his defense, perimeter shooting and decision making will leave us depressed.

Favors
Millsap
Hayward
Burks
Mo Williams
Marvin Williams
Tinsley
Kanter
Jeremy Evans
Foye

That should be who would help the team most. But who knows what Corbin is going to do with minutes

Cant put Al on there. He hurts the team. Trade him

Why put Foye last? He's a nice piece.

Favors, Marvin, Sap, the last two might be anyone. Big chance for Gordon and the dude that shoots 3's. Came from Clippers.

Al
Sap
Mo The Small
Hayward
Favors

Al and Sap will be our best players hands down, maybe Sap leaps Al. Mo may not put up a great year next to his competition, but anything near 15/7 gets him to 3 on our chart. Hayward is the guy I'd like to see become 2 or 3, think he'll be 4, and I'm worried he'll be 5 or 6. Favors is a guy I'd love to see jump to 3/4, but I'm less concerned what type of jump he makes this year so long as he makes strides on offense.

The guy with the best shot to crack the Top 5 is Burks. I'd say Marvin has a shot at 4/5, but he's likely to regress from 3 which puts him solidly at 6/7. Foye's ceiling is 6, could fall to 8, and Kanter's an 8 tops. Nobody else matters.

Sap
MoWill (I could be really over-rating him here, but if he hits 16/7.5 efficiently and plays both ends of the floor, then he edges Al)
Al
Favors
Hayward
