prediction: OKC will make a strong play for Dwight Howard

You think Dwight Howard or Chris Paul want to head for the bright lights of Oklahoma City?

With the fan base they have, and a legitimate superstar to help shoulder the load, I can't see why they wouldn't. Although it wouldn't surprise me to hear them talk down OKC regardless of the potential domination they could experience there, so that they can have easier access to some manhattan martinis and wallow in the suck that is carmello.

They'll dangle Westbrook and Perkins + picks, and they'll agree to Westbrook and Ibaka + picks. They'll even throw in their second-year center from Kansas with the goofy shot, whose name.escapes me. Then, the Jazz are screwed ...

Jackson/Maynor
Sef/Harden
Durant
Perkins
Howard

I'd like to see Orlando do better than
Westbrook + Ibaka + Aldrich + picks

I HOPE I'M WRONG HERE. TRUST ME. I JUST HAVE A BAD FEELING ABOUT THIS....

Oooh.

So close

Durant leaves a lot to be desired. I think he was exposed this year.

Great 3 point scorer and FT shooter.

Not a leader, soft, and a player that cannot get it done in the playoffs.

If he adds more weight, defense, physicality, and maybe a driving game, then he'll be scary. But as of right now, he's just a 7 foot spot up shooter to me.

Westbrook and Harden scare me far more. If we can get those two guys outta OKC, that would be wonderful.

Dwight and Durant might be good. But not nearly as good as a Westbrook, Harden, and Durant core that actually figures out how to play together (which they might never).

I wanted to give some crap to NAOS for his thread but this gem stole the show I think.

Ya Durant sucks dude.

oooh. great prediction.

did it come true?

Howard is going to want a max contract, and although he's a nice enough guy, he jokes around too much and his overall competitive spirit is far below a "win at all cost" attitude! Besides that, he's also injury prone and can't hit a free throw to save his neck! Hey, I like the guy! Not loaded with jailhouse tats, smiles a lot and has some outstanding skills....but the Thunder aren't going to break the bank on a guy that is not all that serious about winning! If they could get him on the cheap for just this year, they'd do it. But that's just not going to happen!

oooh. great prediction.

It's just a guess bruh. No one can see the future. And there are many bargainings that flow under the water and spill from the falls before reaching the shore that we fans are not aware of.
