The best radio announcers can really paint a picture of the game. Locke doesn't do that consistently. He does provide good info though and has genuine excitement. Kick off Harpring, bring in Locke.

Yes I agree. LAst preseason they played a game that was only on the radio. It was completely pointless to listen to. Like I said he still isn't Hot Rod but he has improved a lot. He is actually trying to describe the action rather than engaging in pointless banter.
