Preseason Game #2 - Portland @ Utah, 12-21-11, 7pm MST

Think Corbin has the cajones to potentially bench Harris this season if this trend continues? Not sure he's the PG this team needs.

I like what I am seeing. Still some defensive lapses where players are nailed to the floor.
Tinsley looked good. I think that once Howard gets into shape, he will be a big time player. I hope Raja breaks something and retires.
Evans is just great fun. Burks will learn. Hayward needs to play better.
We still haven't see Milsap.

He's not the PG we need, but he's who we got. Tinsley could get more PT as backup, especially depending on matchups when Earl is too small out there.

Great stat so far is the 19 Utah defensive rebounds to 4 Portland offensive rebounds.

That's an 82.6% defensive rebounding percentage. Very nice.

I just don't see why people dislike Harpring and to a lesser extent Big T. I like them both, they are different. I also like how the Jazz show loyalty to former players. Don't keep them around for nothing but there are at least what 4(?) former Jazzmen in other jobs now.

Lots to be impressed by in the first half. Tinsley looks like our best PG, he was +8 for the half. Big Al has 3 assists, CJ is shooting lights out for the 3rd straight outing if you include the scrimmage. Kanter is already a solid defensive presence down low, something I've been looking for on this team for 4-5 years. Memo still has a pulse but you can't ask him to guard 3's.

If that development on D continues then a Favors - Kanter combo could be a great defensive duo down low.

How long does CJ need to be consistent for people to stop hating him?

I'm curious because I want to know when I will.

Harps problem is that he repeats himself too much. If I hear him say "JazzNation" again.....My urge to kill will rise.

Also, on Monday he called Mathews the new face of the Blazers franchise. tonight, it was Aldridge. Who will it be next week?
He's not as bad as Ron Boone was his first couple of years, but he isn't much better

For me? A season. It is not like he was inconsistant last season only. It has been what? 5 years?

It's not that I dislike them -- they're just boring.

And I hate them.
