I think the trade market looks different if he's packaged with Burke. Basically, it's an expiring + a good second-year player. You put one of our future picks in that deal and I think we could get something worthwhile.
Hansbrough is backing up the 5, and looks pretty good .
I wouldn't trade Burke though. We need him right now... Dante's not close to being ready.
Gotta sweeten the pot if you want anything of value.
Trading Burke doesn't mean that Dante's roll has to change.
Casey likes to play his 5 reserves together as a unit. Vasquez and Lou create off the bounce, 2pat spreads the floor, and James Johnson and hansbrough act like total assholes for ~12 minutes. It works well.LOL - stopped reading here.
We should have drafted Jonas Valaciunas. We should stop drafting players based on their AAU games.

Is there an LA guy yet? It would be fun to watch Boozer-Kanter frontcourt on defense.Marc Gasol
Derrick Favors
Dwight Howard
Tyson Chandler
Joakhim Noah
Anderson Varejao
Chris Bosh (technically plays center)
Al Horford
Al Jefferson
Brooks Lopez
Robin Lopez
Omer Asik
Marcin Gortat
Greg Monroe (arguably a PF, but is kind of same PF/C hybrid)
Andre Drummond (Are we at 15 yet.... yup we are and this has just been the obvious ones off teh top of my head, let me dig deeper by actually looking at rosters.)
Andrew Bogut
Roy Hibbert
DeAndre Jordan
Spencer Hawes
Larry Sanders
Nikola Pecovic
Nikola Vucevic
Miles Plumlee (uggh, hurts me to say that)
DeMarcus Cousins
Tiago Splitter
Tim Duncan (he is a center guis)
Jonas Valaciunas
Waiting in the wings:
Nerlens Noel
Joel Embiid
So I would put Kanter around the 28th best center in the NBA, a starter, but only for a few select teams. Hey, OKC could use his offense, I guess.
I get that... I just don't think Burke is who I would use.
Who would you use? Even though Burke doesn't look like a game-changer, he's an NBA player on a rookie-scale contract. That's valuable. Kanter has value either as an expiring or more (like a part-season audition for another contract). I think they're the youth that we can pair for a good deal without losing the core of what we are trying to accomplish.

I feel bad for Kanter. Seems he has gotten a raw deal, and I have been rooting for him. But when he gets faked completely out of his jock by a simple head fake like the one Dirk gave him, and offers listen resistance at the rim -- use your strength to hammer people and prevent them from making easy shots at the rim -- and constantly is getting his shot blocked under the basket, and continues to fail to rotate fast enough on D, what can you say. Sorry, Enes, you just haven't got what it takes to be a starter in this league.
