Love that move @ about 1:00. Looks new? It got stopped but good to see him attacking at this level.

I love Hayward. Thanks for sharing those. He's fun to watch. Love to see him take it to the next level this year. Definitely reminds me of a young Ginobili a bit (for lack of a better comparison).

What I would really like to see Hayward's teammates do is roll to the hoop when Gordon attacks the basket. He seems to get caught in no man's land a lot when he goes to the hoop. Having someone to dish to underneath would make him that much more dangerous.

After watching part of that game at the end, I noticed a lot of standing around. The movement without the basketball either isn't preached or just ignored.

A key missing part is the mid-range jumper and runner. Ability to take it to the basket, find an opening from 10-15 feet away and squeeze of a quick shot. Honracek was masterful at this. Then he rises to Ginobli level.

It is because the BLue PGs were simply looking for their own shots. They were dribbling and then chucking up shots. Hopefully, the guys who were doing that will not be on the team. I believe Hayward might have a shot to make the World Cup team because he is a willing passer and defender. He also can handle the ball and shoot the 3 pt.

Yeah, didn't look like they were even remotely attempting to get Hayward involved except as a bail out.

Good points. He's got the tools, now let's see if he has the work ethic to add those parts to his game. I can see it. Although he also has a size advantage over Manu (and Horny) and is a better defender already. I see no reason why he couldn't be as good or better than either of them within a couple of years (he's still very young).
