What's new

Punch Matt Harpring in the face night.

When I say whatever works, I mean whatever shuts Matt the hell up.

Matt has already agreed to donate his face blood.

Even though he sucks, he's still a hero.

I still don't get how the game went in to overtime with the Jazz trailing by one.

haha I had no idea what Harpring was talking about for the last minute of the game. I enjoy how Boler tried to ignore it the entire time

Good Golly,

I am now at the point where I wish the Jazz would convince him to come out of retirement.

Totally atrocious. It is like listening to your neighbors dog bark all night long.

True, except it's much, much worse.

At least I know that my neighbor's dog will be dead in at least 7 - 13 years tops.

Let's face it, Matt Harpring's voice will live for probably at least 20 years.

I'm considering watching Hockey as an alternative.

Come on he is just a rookie. He is only what 38 years old? He has so much potential. Every now and then he sounds just like Walton, sometimes with flashes of Hot Rod and Boone. He will be the next great announcer. He just needs the time and minutes to develop. Sure his confidence is off, but when he gets the green light and the starting nod he will be what we all expect him to be, the next Chick Hearn.

Bolerjack: 2.8 seconds remain here in-
Harpring interrupts: Well the Jazz are going to get the ball back. They're going to foul, they'll have some time left, they'll get the rebound off the free throw and call timeout again so there will be another possession for the Jazz.
(a moment of silence)
Harpring: ...They gotta foul right away though.
Bolerjack: No you're tied at 89.
Harpring: Oh. My-my fault.
...play ensues with Boler on the call...
Harpring: I blew that call I thought that they were up one.

Matt did say in the first half that he thought the Jazz needed to run more picknroll, which they did down the stretch with DWill and Paul. That was some nice insight.

Awesome.
