That's why Westbrook is a superstar and Hayward isn't...Westbrook hit his three and Hayward missed his. **** happens. We should have never been in that game to begin with

We could start by at least getting the ball near the 3 pt line.
I know they didnt NEED a 3, but its pretty obvious it'd be the only shot they could get in 0.9 secs

Who's fault is that? As the leader of the team shouldn't he have demanded the ball? Your excuses are comical....
Sure. I get it, not the same scenario. but we get pretty damn easy to defend when we have almost no action, and hayward has to pop out to half court to catch the ball. We've struggled in late game play action most of the year, it is no secret.
uhh, completely different when thy dont need a 3. If you need only a 3, that negates about 25 feet of space you dont have to guard.
So what. He more than made up for it with clutch shots at the end to win the game. That's what superstars do.What about when Westbrook dribbled off his foot when it was a 1 point game?
I just don't see how we could expect anything more than catching the ball moving towards half court. They have ALL 5 guys out at the 3-point line. I guess we could beat them back door and get a 2, but that would be pointless.

how much time does it take off for an alley oop? just curious. 1.2 - 0.1 second would still give over a second. would it be possible to foul fast enough and hope they miss? that's just as improbable for success as the half court thing quin drew up.

A Hayward off balance 30-footer has a better chance than that scenario.
Hayward used up all of his clutch shots quota for the week in Washington...he didnt play like an all-star tonight in he 4th.
No one is 100% on open shots, it happens. He hadn't touched teh ball in 4 minutes because we were playing 2 man games with Abrines/Kanter.
I know everyone misses shots. My point is Hayward misses a lot in big moments when we need him to step up and make those big shots. I mean Russell hit a big 3 in George Hill's eye with good D. Hayward misses a wide open 3 on the other end. Russell comes back with a big time drive and an and one. If you're the guy, the max money leader, you gotta step up in those moments and take the game by the throat like Russ did. Can't shrink and disappear.
Uhh wut? We had no time outs left. Are you aware of how basketball works?
if we alley oop, then they miss 2 fts, we are down 1, then we full court alley oop, and win!
lol, easy peezy.
