What's new

Quin must go

The only guy who has improved under Snyder is Ingles and Gobert and it was reported it was G.Hill that brought the drills to help Rudys hands.

Benedict - Took 3 yrs and he left so didnt think much of Quin
Rudy - Rudy would have improved regardless, hes a beast
Ingles - Pass mark
DM - Came out of the whom a baller
Burks - Fail
Exum - tbd
Favors - Fail
Hood - Fail
Lyles - Fail
Burke - Fail

There is a case to be made that Ingles is the only player to have improved as the direct result of Quin.

Why is everyone under the impression he can develop talent? I am yet to see it.

Hayward improved every year here under Snyder.

Rudy obviously improved greatly.

Favors got better every year under snyder except the injured year.

Hood has improved.

Hill had a career year here.

Sef and Udoh are having career best years here.

And the list goes on.

Pfft.

Hayward fine.

I credit Rudy for his improvement. Funny how he has had terrible hands except the year G.Hill was here (who said he work with Rudy on that issue)

Favors has regressed.

Hoods best year was his rookie year. Literally NO improvement.

Hill sure. That was system.

So what about the rest?

The Atlanta Hawks, Demarre specifically.

George Hill improved, And the first time I was sold on Hayward was Quin's first year.

Development is the path that Snyder gained prominence in the league.

But I'm sure you know more than the at least five professional organizations that hired him, gave him a reference, and lost him to promotions.

HE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR THEM. Whether players have injury problems or not is not on him (unless he's overplaying them). Hood's issues are mostly psychological, Favors is either made of glass or the Jazz have been negligent in their monitoring him. Players don't always adapt to change, specifically and especially oppositional scouting.

I don't think you're taking anything in context. Players developing is the exception, not the rule.

Lmao. Ok.

Im sure Quin has a similar philosophy.

All the butt hurt around whenever anyone critisizes Quin is hilarious, he aint Pop and its becoming apparent he isnt equipped to hold Brad Stevens clipboard!

I listed more than that like Sef having the best year of his career, Udoh having the best year of his career. Jerebko is having one of his best year post injury. Neto is having his best year, although he doesnt play much and is not a big part of the team. Its still his best year. Shelvin Mack had the best year and half of his career under Snyder here.

You can say it was the system that improved Hill but that is Snyders system.

I think Exum will develop very well under Snyder once he is healthy for enough time. (although we all know the real reason you dont like Snyder is that he did play Exum enough for your liking)

Also Hoods best year was not his first. Its kind of hard to have that discussion.

Favors only down year was his injured year. Favors improved greatly his first year under Snyder and his second. Then he was injured for the whole year. This year he is far less involved but he is still having his best offensive rating season ever despite the team struggling offensively and his lowest usage rate since his 2nd year.

Royce is improving very quickly under Snyder.

Mitchell improved a lot quickly under Snyder he has gotten better every month which is rare for a rookie in his rookie year.

A bunch of old dude who are actually given playing time and opportunity... wow (sarcasm). His reputation was that he could develop YOUNG TALENT!

All the butt hurt in the world from you because he didnt play Exum as many minutes as you wanted last year.
Wont lie. Pissed me off.

Thats Shelvin Mack move seems to be standard operating procedure for Quin.

So you honestly gonna tell me you were onboard with that nonsense?

The GS fiasco?
The Rub/Fav/Rudy abortion?
The infamous 'Doghouse'?

Most those guys had plenty of playing time and opportunity elsewhere they just got better coaching and a better system here. That is on top of developing young guys.

Just wait, Snyder talks all the time about how much he pushes Exum and expects greatness from him. That is why he pushes him and expects more out of him than any player he has coached according to Snyder. He will develop and you will want to marry Snyder.

People wanting to fire Lindsey, I think this is funny. Cause the replacement would start trading 1st round picks for Michael Beasley, Will Barton, Mason Plumlee, whatever is left of Demaree Carrol, or the rights to the basketball corpse of Tayshaun Prince. And then they would really now what it means to have a bad GM.

Hey all you Lindsey haters: Nets fans say hello!

Hey all you Lindsey haters:Let's hire Isiah Thomas, Vlade Divac or Dell Demps to be our GM

Hey all you Lindsey haters: DL drafted Donovan Mitchell

Hey all you Lindsey haters: DL drafted Rudy Gobert

Hey all you Lindsey haters: Maybe the guy you should be more pissed at is Gordo Doucheward.

Hey all you Lindsey haters: We still have all of our first round picks!

Hey all you Lindsey/Snyder haters: You want to win?! Maybe putting bad lineups on the floor is part of the plan so that we can get a good draft pick so that we can maximize our chances of obtaining elite talent so that we can win at the level that you approve of and are comfortable with.

I think Exum should have played more but I trust Snyder and the way he is developing him. Snyder talks a great deal about Exum and his development.

I am a big Exum supporter, but my fandom of the Jazz isnt reliant on Exum and or Ingles being on the team like others on this board. ;)

We'll see.

I know Im overreacting but it boggles me how everyone is still on board, no questions asked.

Fair enough. I have questions but I still trust him. I am worried he isnt getting this team to play hard.

Losing is okay but I dont like crappy effort from players and we are getting more and more of that. Some of that is on the coach.

That was more about appeasing Benedict than developing Exum! And we all know it!
