I feel great about Snyder stepping down. First of all, he miseducated the players, particularly Mitchell, on shot selection. Besides, he never found a way or -- showed a willingness to -- implement any sort of inside game, despite having a giant like Gobert in the line-up. I agree that Gobert is not polished offensively, but there was no stimulus for him to develop a post game, since he rarely received the ball in the low post. Defensively, Snyder's Jazz barely covered the perimeter; not only the perimeter players were not held accountable to being blown by their assigned players, but also the team did not defend the passing lanes at all. It is true that Snyder implemented some good sets to get three point shots off but that basically sums up his accomplishments. At the end of the day, Snyder did a subpar job.
