Quin Snyder still a padawan

Where am I? I how did I get in here? Where's the exit door, and how do I avoid being choked by a Sith Lord on the way out?

Chill out dude we have been on an insane run. We are a good team but not a great team and we were bound to lose a game. It was just a game where everything went wrong for us. One of our best players was out. Neto, who seems to be very essential to the second unit tbh, has been out (Neto>Exum right now). An insane career nigh from an opposing player. Mitchell, Ingles, and Gobert having a bad game, missing open shots that they usually hit. If we can play the last five minutes of that game again we would win. Ingles missed a lot of open 3s and he is one of the best 3 point shooters in the league--he doesn't miss all those open looks again. Mitchell didn't finish around the rim like he usually does. A 3 point play rolled off the rim. Just nothing went right. But let's not freak out. It happens to every team. It's the NBA.

Satire buddy... satire.... everyone knows Quin is the master...

Offensive Rating has nothing to do w/ pace.

The basic building blocks of the Offensive Rating calculation are Individual Total Possessions and Individual Points Produced. The formula for Total Possessions is broken down into four components: Scoring Possessions, Missed FG Possessions, Missed FT Possessions, and Turnovers.

To say that pace doesn’t play a role in the offensive rating is false. The pace of the game controls the number of possessions each team receives. Slower pace less possessions. With less Possessions in each possession takes up a bigger percentage of the total calculation that calculates the offensive rating.

Offensive Rating is not affected by pace. There are teams with high offensive ratings who play slow and teams with high ratings who play fast.

Well the Jazz pounded Atlanta twice last year... Quin is now 3-5 against Bud... there is your analysis.

The game plan was fine... unless Quin told the guys to brick every damn thing all night... odd strategy but he's an outside the box thinker.

Last night was a culmination of bad things:

-Schroeder's career night
-Bad DM shooting
-Bad Ingles shooting
-Bad overall shooting
-Favors out

with all those bad things we lose a close game. Take one of them away we win. Quin did fine, players just had an off night. **** happens.
Also, had a damn good shot for the win if Mitchell would’ve gotten that “and one” to drop and tie the game late. Jazz would’ve had a wild crowd and a ton of momentum. They got a good look on Jingles 3. If the game is tied (or only down 2), they’re not trying to force up a 3 pointer at that point. Lots more options available.

If Quin is a padawan, he’s learning from the best.

Last night we saw a great example of how not to coach. Insanity is caused be doing the same thing expecting a different result. Quin kept his rotations the same while all of us sat at home on our couches watching Rubio get torched again and again. We watched Ingles have on off night for way too long. We watching a guy who is meant to bring tough D and energy try to do to much on offense (Royce). It was a sad frustrating game that would have been better with some coaching and rotation match-up changes at half time.

Sith lord Mike Budenholzer used Force grip and caused Quin to choke!!

If you would like to point a finger, do it at the expense of the players. The players failed the coaching system not the other way around.
Rubio had 3 assists and Ingles shot 1/8 from deep. You can't blame the coach for not being able to teach ignorance. They are usually on point but didn't have it last night.

Yes, because when you win 20 out of 22 the first thing you should do is start messing around with your rotations.

The Jazz lost because they were without Favors and got nothing from Jonas and Jae.

Favors gets you 4-6 easy buckets every game which would have more than made the difference

The only reason we lost is because we shot 37% from the field. We got good looks but they just didn't go in. It happens to every single team once in a while. It had nothing to do with coaching or rotations.
