The great thing here is that the Bucks DID try to defend the three. They completely sold out on defending the three. That is why Rudy had 27 points. You can't stop the Jazz three point shooting AND Gobert, even with the (presumably) DPOY. The Bucks fans complaining about leaving "wide open 3's!" didn't even notice the Bucks shift in defense.

They need to cherish Bud, because it is very likely that whoever they got to replace him would be much, much worse.
