Win hands down

Mitchell will have to go for 60 points to win tonight. The offense minus DG and Mitchell is non existent

I don't know how anyone watches Donovan Mitchell and thinks the Cavs overpaid. Dude is legit.

**** Kelly Olynyk.

Lauri looks like a brand new person... I mean that literally, he looks like an actual different human being

Donovan is so unfair man, dude is too good

I hate to even type this out, but at what point do we start to consider to use Love’s expiring as a trade piece at the deadline

My GF: "Jordan Clarkson looks like he got picked on in high school. And if he didn't he should have been."

I love Mike Conley. Wish he could’ve been a Cav in his career.

I'm convinced Neto could score 70, and JB still wouldn't play him the next game.

Kelly O looks like an old world peasant lol

1st Half

I don't know what the stat is on teams that allow an opponent to score with less that 5 seconds on the clock but I guarantee we're the worst.

If only we had some kind of system for when we have the ball. Like "plays" or something that could help us get easy shots.

Kevin Love looks washed. Sad to say, but it really is looking like it this season. Not sure if he's hurt, but he's got no speed, no touch, no shot this season. Each game I look for him to get back on track but hasn't happened yet.

Mitchell is so much better than anyone else on our team currently its not even funny.

I kinda miss Quin Snyder bro — like just how insane he looked

Don't know why it took this long for Lauri to realize he has the size and athleticism to attack the basket more often. He looks great out there

2nd Half

This team doesn’t know how to play in the 4th QT. It’s really a massive waste of time anymore.

And again. Home ground refereeing. It’s getting old. Love JC but he just leans into people and cries and gets rewarded. No wonder all the records are being broken.

Garland turnover with 1:52 left when they were leading by 5 was the deciding factor in this game. Clarkson scored 3 off that and then two straight fouls by the Cavs in the bonus.

I love Darius Garland, but PLEASE stop having him bring the ball up the court with <2 minutes in the game.

Get LeVert out of here. I’m sick of watching him not to be able to control his body on defense. HE lost this game for us.

Those refs were an absolute travesty. They just gifted that to Utah, hands down.

Caris got smoked by Clarkson ... Hey Caris he wants to go right and how about we don't foul him every time he attempts at 3

Cavs completely choked in the last 3min of the game

Gonna be Mitchell vs Clarkson to finish this game. I like our odds.

What the actual ****

**** you refs, ****ing rat bastards

Love really needs to get his **** together or else we need to be looking at big men at the deadline

If we could make a basket that would be great

They do have nice uniforms

Getting our *** whopper within a literal minute

Lmao Clarkson is basically just jumping any direction a defender is and flops to the floor

Trade levert for a 2046 2nd round pick

Never thought I’d see a player that could just take over comparatively to LeBrons tenure here. Mitchell is him

Jordan "Natural Shooting Motion" Clarkson

Ready for tomorrows L2M report: “The refs are perfect and every call was correct, you must give Jordan Clarkson a 5 foot radius perimeter to shoot. Also if he misses and the ball goes out, the Jazz just get it anyway.”

Absolute garbage officiating here. You can’t let a guy jump and kick his legs that far forward and call it a flagrant.

Just a casual 7 point possession

He landed inside the line. That should negate any possibility of a flagrant.

Oh now when JC shoots the three he doesn’t jump forward.

7 point possession…. Ridiculous

why bother with open 3s when 4Q Donovan can make contested 3s off the dribble

Spida is doper than Trainspotting

what a ****ing stupid ****ing way to lose a game

Spida got some dirty tricks in the bag god damn

This dude clarkson is literally running into people and chucking the ball

we literally had a 5 point lead before levert single-handedly gave it away with the dumbest ****ing fouls

Neto, save us. You’re our only hope.

The Jazz arena hype man guy sucks *** lol

clarkson is a doing a high jump kick how is that a flagrant

I’ve never seen someone kick their leg out as far as possible as Clarkson wtf is that ********

How does the shot count, two free throws, and kept possession? How is that the outcome for something as subjective as this?

Up 5 to down 2 in 1 possession

Cavs find the most ridiculous ways to blow leads in the clutch regardless if it’s the refs fault, a ****ing 7 point play up 5? 2k sliders type ****

This may be the worst defensive possession in basketball history

Damn, that was a tough way to blow a game. The 7 point possession was rough to watch.

I can’t deal with Love at the 5. Id rather watch RoLo try to rotate on his goofy *** peglegs

Jumping forward 5 feet to get a landing flagrant foul just seems wrong to me but idk

Gotta bench Kevin- the man couldn’t hit water if he fell out of a boat

You cant blame one guy for a loss..except for this game

Dribble for 18 secs and then iso. That’s our o…

That's an insane stat to only have 3 turnovers and be down almost 10, we shot more fts too. Building a house with these

Post Game

Tough loss. That flagrant foul was a questionable call and a game-changer.

Okoro is a bust, I think many of us can admit that now. But I'm more worried about Mobley's lack of progress. With JA out he should be making up for it, but he isn't/can't, at least in terms of scoring and rebounding. We got absolutely owned on the boards today.

I appreciate all that Kevin Love has done for the team and city of Cleveland........ But he gotta go! Okoro.......gotta go! Garland.....gotta stop making stupid turn overs! We need more movement on offense! Losing Allen really hurts this team. Didn't like the calls from the refs most of the night

We need another scorer. Can’t have Don scoring 50 every night.

I’m begging you to trade Levert and Love for Bogdonovic

That flagrant foul call was ridiculous! No way a person goes up for a three and lands 2-3 feet inside the line and it’s Caris fault for his feet landing there too. Destroyed Cavs momentum.

Just leave Caris in Utah. Kidnap Lauri. Also, so disappointed in Garland in every clutch moment this season. Mobley’s offense leaves so much to be desired.

13-0 run to end it

He scored 46, Caris fouled Clarkson 2 straight times and they had a 7 point possession. Nothing is on Mitchell

Did not enjoy the flagrant three point foul into the subsequent three point foul. Was nasty.

Nothing more frustrating than seeing a bum in Clarkson getting Harden-like calls. Harden is a superstar and got calls like that back in those days. Still does. I don’t want Clarkson back in Cleveland. Dude is nothing but a low IQ bum who does nothing but jack up shots. Plays defense like a high school kid. That’s why no teams have ever wanted to hang onto him. Doesn’t fit the Cavs as a team when it comes to playing Cavs-like basketball. So keep him away from the Cavs.

Apparently Jordan Clarkson shooting motion naturally jumps forward. Except when it very naturally leans backwards.

Farthest body travel on a jumpshot I’ve ever seen

damn that sucks legit dont know how ur supposed to close out on clarkson dude lol

Anyone think it’s odd that clarkson jumped 3 ft forward on his first foul and then jumped backwards on his second one? Almost as if he was hunting for the calls….

He definitely practices that. I bet they all do. It just like F1 racing. You review the rules to be the best car under the circumstances for what you have. Same thing with the NBA.

Caris Levert just lost this game in the most embrassing way possible, may God have mercy on his soul

Another shocking collapse for the 22-23 collection! What new way will we find to lose next game! Stay tuned!

Mitchell is god level

It’s truly impressive how any time I think I’ve seen the most ********* officiating they still manage to amaze me

We should not have slowed the ball down with 3 minutes left and up by 5. As soon as Garland slowed down, I felt something in my gut it was the wrong move.

You gotta keep the pedal to the metal in this league. If you don’t, the other team can score 9 points on you in 41 seconds!!! We had that game and need to keep the pressure on. As soon as we stop being junkyard dogs, we get taken to the pound.

If just one of those calls don't go in Utah's favor we could've won. Happened at the worst time too with hardly anytime left in the game for the Cavs to respond, and the Jazz could not score otherwise with Evan Mobley locking up the basket, they got bailed out by the calls.

Refs were awful, but we should’ve blown this ****** *** team out of the water, we shot piss poor for 3 quarters, Kevin Love has been unplayable of late, LeVert was bad LeVert tonight, Mitchell had to carry the whole damn team

Look, even if it was the correct call, the fact that you can lean back into a defender, who is just standing there, and it be a foul is such *********. Terrible rule.

I cant wait to see LeVert in any other jersey besides a Cavs jersey.

A great Donovan game wasted. Besides him the team was putrid from 3 including Garland in crunch time. I love the kid and his potential but he needs to get more accurate in the 4th or we’re in trouble. Horrible flagrant call with Clarkson taking off behind the 3 and landing a foot inside it on Leverts foot, refs should be ashamed. The rest was a collapse and Clarkson getting red hot, on to the next one.

We dominated the 4th quarter and then the refs handed them that 7 point possession. It’s inexcusable. Stole the game right away from us with the bull ****. Can’t be handing a flagrant out for a player flailing and jumping that far forward. Oh and then the same players next shot he jumps backwards and that’s a natural shooting motion as well. Ruined an absolute gem from Mobley locking them down in the 4th and that’s what I’m so pissed about.

I'm sick and tired of Love , Okoro and Cedi bricking wide-open threes. Please Koby find a reliable three-point shooter. I silently cringe every time they shoot because I know it's not going in. These games wouldn't even be close if they could hit half of the open shots they took.

Playing a ****** team on a losing streak but they go off against us. Open three after open three and late calls

That burns we lose a game we had no business losing on ****** call rewarding a flailing player, and I lose my last leg of parlay that would of netted me 200 bucks. Time to drink myself to sleep.

Damn the Utah crowd is lit. Too bad our team is flaccid AF right now.

Love has struggled since getting married. He needs to get a Divorce for the teams sake

We cannot ****ing beat Western teams lmfao

I’d trade LeVert for a bigger seat for Mitchell on the team plane. Dude is trash.

Didn’t know jazz was this good

107-102 lead under 2 minutes left, to immediately collapse after that is ridiculous. Terrible job of knowing time and score, inexcusable for Caris to commit the second foul after the first one. I don’t think that’s a foul but why even put it in the refs hand

Damn this jazz team really hustles

Damn the Jazz are tough

Getting cooked by Clarkson is no bueno

Jordan Clarkson playing evil basketball the past 3 possessions lolol

Fouling a 3 pt shooter three times in the last 3 minutes of the game?!?! Are you kidding

I was gonna write a comment about how awesome Mobley is, but I’m going to instead vent about how much I ****ing hate watching Caris Levert play basketball. Even when he scores, it’s often the wrong play or something another player could have done in the same position. His value is fake, and I hope some sucker gives us value for him. Dude watched Mitchell’s enormous effort to win this game and single-handedly gave up 7 points in one possession. Simply the most 3-head **** I’ve ever seen. Leaning into Clarkson when he’s feeling it is the basketball equivalent of sticking your dick in a ceiling fan

Cavs fans are hilarious! I think I enjoyed the remark about KO looking like an old-world peasant and Neto not getting in even after he scored 70 the most.:p

My favorite part of the game though was Cleveland's last timeout with seven seconds left and down five. Coach was just so befuddled by Clarkson's scoring barrage of nine points from 1:23 to 40.9, he was totally beside himself after that!

Whilst Mitchell played well , they all defended him , saying it wasn’t his fault

Yet he missed a few open shots the last few minutes when the game was up for grabs , and focused on the refs calls , which were correct

I’m sorry Cavs fans , we’ve seen this movie before

I hate to even type this out, but at what point do we start to consider to use Love’s expiring as a trade piece at the deadline
Lol good luck with that.
Kelly O looks like an old world peasant lol
That’s being unfair to old world peasants everywhere.
This team doesn’t know how to play in the 4th QT. It’s really a massive waste of time anymore.
Cavs fans meet Don in the final 3 minutes of a close game. Lol
Gonna be Mitchell vs Clarkson to finish this game. I like our odds.
Oh Cleveland, you’ll learn soon enough.

lol Cavs fans are so spoiled after all the winning seasons of Lebron James. They don't know **** about basketball or are all drunk by the buzzer

Hah. Only two teams in his 8 year career thus far haven't held onto him and is currently in his fourth season with his current team. I guess I'd probably have to convince myself something similar if I watched Clarkson explode after trading him for DANTE EXUM.

Dedex lololololololololololololololololololol

Saw game, was stupid plays by Lavert but one flagrant was stupid call by ref, jordan jump forward a lot into Lavert. It was difference in game.

jc is one of those smart foul-baiting 3pt shooters out there. he knows you're coming and he have enough wits and power to shoot after contact. he occasionally make those 4pt plays

It's natural to jump forward when you shoot, and Lavert was not vertical, he was coming forward too. This obviously wouldn't have been a flagrant some years ago, but the way they call them now it was correct IMHO. They did review the call, after all. It wasn't a split second mistake.

Yep, Levert actually came under Clarkson's back/left foot, which was only about a foot in front of the FT line. Levert clearly continued towards and into Clarkson's space on the shot.

Having had a couple of severe sprains myself from defenders not giving me space to land, I think it is a good rule. Levert made a bunch of bonehead plays, which is not surprising. He is awful.

No, it's a terrible rule as currently enforced. Shooters are doing all they can to land on the defender's foot (or very near it) and kicking their legs out to trip guys closing them out, making themselves fall down in the process The defenders basically don't have a chance if they actually try to bother the shot.

The League should have known this was going to happen. Players will look for any advantage they can find and gaming the rules has become totally acceptable. Harden & co led the way and introduced a new culture to the NBA.

While it's good for the Jazz that Clarkson managed to fool the refs (and I cheered him for it), the fact is that if it had been the other way around, this fanbase would be absolutely furious at the refs.

I agree it's dangerous to land on someone's foot with your full weight on it, but shooters these days can anticipate it happening because they're actively going for it. If you watch instant replays of this stuff, you'll see that when getting ready to land, they're already moving their body weight back so they'll fall at the slightest hint of contact on their feet. You can still hurt your ankle but it's not very likely. Harden especially is a master at this.

Watch the play again.

Levert closed out a greater distance while Clarkson was in the air than Clarkson did with forward momentum. Levert went straight towards him. If Levert was already in the landing zone when Clarkson jumped, then I'd agree. That was not the case.

Hell, even if the contact was to Jordan's right foot that extended a ways past the line, I could see a ref stating he had room to land and caused contact. Look carefully, it was actually Jordan's back foot that landed on Levert's foot, about a foot over the line. Levert simply closed out poorly.

The second call on Levert was more borderline, but the L2M report maintained it was the right call as Levert did cause contact.

Yeah, I'm aware that LeVert is pretty bad at closing out, the rules being what they are now. But what I'm saying is that this whole thing is absurd. When the simple act of taking a 3pt shot becomes a game within a game and the rules are weaponized, something is very wrong. It's all just another form of flopping.

The worst thing is that not only are the refs going along with it, they're actively encouraging it.

The rule exists for various injuries along the years in situations where player wasnt actually allowed to land clean. It is not only justifiable, but also a good rule. Any rules can be exploited.. shot fouls have been exploited forever by top players who drive into defenders who are not in a legal guarding position. Its the oldest trick in the book.

Defenders need to be aware that the rules can be exploited and Levert does as bad a job on that play as you can. He turns around to spectate the shot, completely oblivious of where he is in relation to the shooter. Dumb play. He didnt even contest the shot and still gave that opportunity... Smart defenders take slightly diagonal angles on their closeouts and continue their motion passing the shooter but Levert just ran straight towards JC and then turned around to spectate the shot directly in front of him.
