Down 6 against a fully healthy Utah team on their floor, I'll take it. We are a much more unpredictable team without PG. MMSr and Kennard did good work early in the 1st. Bledsoe followed it up in the 2nd. Mr. 39pt in close out game 6 needs to show up in the 2nd half.

Throw me in, coach. I haven't been physically active for several years, I can't shoot outside of free-throws and even then, it's iffy, and my vertical is probably 10 inches, but I probably won't turn the ball over as much as these guys.

Mann and Kennard [minus-20] vs Mitchell and Conley is just asking too much. It's a class thing. We've only 2 starters and missing the top 3 at that. They have all 5 fully healthy and well-oiled.
Nobody's playing particularly badly. Mook woke up again on the offensive end and Bledsoe's having his best game as a Clipper. Still scrappin' and back within single digits in the 4th.
Mitchell last 7 games is averaging 29 ppg on 54/45 shooting, so it is not the best time to catch him as a defender.
The Jazz look like the same old regular-season-only team to me. Not very impressed.
Game was way closer than score indicates.
Wouldn't look too much into this loss. We know the key to beating jazz is to go small to draw Gobert out of the paint and we didn't have the guys to pull it off today.Guys fought hard. On to the next game.
Creators off the dribble are always a threat. Even if they're 0-10, the defense has to respect them just because of the skill level. They're always drawing the defense to themselves which means others have more room to operate thus affecting the game even on bad shooting nights.
This game reminded me of how much I hate the Jazz. Luka & company are fine compared to them. Mike Conley looking smug asf for beating a depleted Clippers team.
I’m with the coaching staff here. I just don’t see much room for Serge with how important Zu is and the emergence of Hart. If there’s one thing that’s fine for now it’s the center rotation. And we can’t really afford to wait and see if he ever gets back into form with how little room for error we have without Kawhi.
Besides the fouls we just couldn’t stop Utah on the pick and roll because Gobert is bigger than Kennard and Mann. We actually did a good job containing Mitchell on the Zubac switch for the most part. Mann never got going , Kennard didn’t score again after the first quarter, Reggie was clearly hurt and Mook was hot and cold with his shots. Zu had the touch fouls
Congratulations to Utah for winning a regular season game against a very tired and hobbled opponent. This will surely translate to the playoffs.
Jazz are legit. Their net rating is 11.3, behind golden state at 11.6. Then it’s a huge jump to Phoenix at 5.7. Clippers are tenth at 1.7.
Clippers would be way higher if the offense wasn't so ***
