The thing that hurts us most is Gobert negating DJ's rebounding advantage.* They beat us soundly in rebounding on Sunday night.* Gobert is a huge difference maker on defense too in that we can't get lobs to DJ as easily.* The only chance we have to win tonight is that if our players play much better with the homecourt advantage behind them and that we turn the ball over a lot less than they do.* And try and stay even with them on the boards.
I don't think we can beat them in Utah without a healthy Blake Griffin.* So we have to win tonight
Realistically, with Gobert and Hayward back, Blake out, Jamal bound to regress to the mean, and Doc still "coaching" - let's just say it doesn't look very good.
Doubtful this will be less than a 7 game series unless we lose game 5. Someone made the observation recently that we have never gotten out of the first round in less than 7 games during the Blake/CP era. Meanwhile LeBron crushed the Pacers in 4 and the Durant-less and Kerr-less Warriors will probably do the same with the Blazers.
It's just the Clipper way, we should be up 3-1......... And possibly goin*into game 4 up 3-0 and having the lead in the 4th, I'm sure we would have won. Look at what Cleveland and GState did?*

jazz are deadly when the clock is less than 7 seconds.. as the commentator said they shot 50% FG and about 45% from 3 if the clock is below 7 seconds. so clips should defend the full 24sec.
The amount of open looks they are getting is staggering

the shot quality utah has is so much better than ours, it'll be really tough to win this game. hard to be a great defensive team though when you willingly burden yourself with guys like pierce and crawford, and you let jordan be lazy on defense and rebounds.

We look great…then look horrible. On both sides. Give them credit. They’re running great offense and playing physical defense.
Jazz are really well coached. It's unclear to me whether they are more talented or just moving the ball better. Although we had a real nice possession to get Pierce am open look so there is hope yet.
It's like a Pepe Le Pew cartoon or a Halloween movie: one team scrambling around like crazy, mistaking activity for achievement, wearing itself out running in place. The other calmly walking alongside, biding its time and somehow still getting there first.

I would be upset and frustrated but I've aready been there since after the first month of the season.
They never showed anything that said they would figure it out. Yes the Injuries suck but in all honesty I think the series would be exactly the same if Blake was still playing. We just don’t have it where it counts, upstairs.

Well, regardless, we can prob predict what will happen next year. Doc will plead Griffin to stay, Griffin will prob stay for the money, CP3 same story. Doc will go searching in the bargain bin again for washed up veterans to fill up our bench, we will finish top 5 in the west, get knocked out first or second round. Hopefully is not what happens and changes happen. Or at least this happens but with a new coach and a legit GM.
I would rather see them lose in Utah so I can disconnect my cable, Because there's no way we can beat the Warriors and at least Balmer can start thinking what to do this summer.

Honestly, I don't see this Clipper team as it stands winning a championship or possibly getting to 2nd round. I'd prefer they go fishing get this s--- over with and rebuild top to bottom. I was insulted that people were calling this a pick em series but then I remembered we f***ing suck. They all look mentally broke out there. I hope we blow it up so I can stop having expectations for this team.
Jazz thoroughly outplayed LA all game. It was just close because a ton of open shots didn't fall early.
This was the type of game where it seemed no matter what we did, they came back and did it better. Open the game 7-0? No problem, Utah goes 11-0. Tie the game at 69 on an 11-0 run? Instant 8-0 run by the Jazz. The entire third quarter summarizes how this series has gone the last 2 games.
I always feel depressed in late April/early May. Can't quite figure out why. It seems odd, considering how beautiful it is outside, how fresh-faced everyone is around me... Happens every year. Weird.
we don't deserve Chris Paul. our support played like ****, minus a few sparks The Utah Joes dominated in an oddly slow game
the Jazz had so many open shots. If it were the Warriors it woulda been a blow out.. Our bench's defense cannot stop any sort of dribble penetration
