I've always liked Wes Matthews. It was a shame we let him leave.

Sounds like their expectations were waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy too high this year after getting Doncic. Their team lacks depth and experience. They're going to have trouble against great teams like the Jazz this year. Carlisle is a good coach tho. Mavs should be solid in a year or two. Gonna take time for Doncic and Smith Jr to develop and for the team to add depth.
